Consent Attached are two revised Resolution for Maintenance of Streets and Highways by a Municipality under the Illinois Highway Code (BLR 14220) documents for the 2021 Street Resurfacing Program in the total amount of $2,046,939.48. One is in the amount of $857,000.00 to expend Motor Fuel Tax funds. The other is in the amount of $1,189,939.48 to expend Rebuild Illinois funds. The two original Resolutions passed by the Village Board on January 5, 2021 used Section Number 21 -00000 -00 -GM. The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is requiring the Village to revise the Section Number to 21 -00173 -00 -RS and pass new resolutions. The dollar amounts are consistent with what was 1 expended in 2021. Alternatives 1. Pass two revised resolutions authorizing the expenditure of Motor Fuel Tax and Rebuild Illinois funds for the maintenance of streets and highways. 2. Action at the discretion of the Village Board. Staff recommends the Village Board approve two (2) revised resolutions authorizing the expenditure of $2,046,939.48 utilizing Motor Fuel Tax and Rebuild Illinois funds for the maintenance of streets and highways during the period commencing January 1, 2021 and concluding on December 31, 2021.
