The Mount Prospect Police Department is being honored by the Illinois Association
of Chiefs of Police for the reaccreditation of their policies and procedures.
Accreditation is a process whereby law enforcement agencies evaluate policies and
procedures against established criteria, and have compliance with those criteria
verified by an independent and authoritative body, the Illinois Law Enforcement
Accreditation Program (ILEAP).
