CAF 2/11/93 ORDINA/~CE NO. 4522 AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DISCHARGE OF SANITARY AND INDUSTRIAL WASTE INTO ANY STORM SEWER OR DRAINAGE FACILITY CONSTRUCTED AS PART OF THE KENSINGTON/WHEELING ROAD IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS, the State of Illinois, acting by and through its Department of Transportation, is desirous of improving the intersection of Kensington and Wheeling Road in the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, said project includes the installation of Storm sewers and drainage facilities; and WHEREAS, a portion of the project runs through the Village of Mount Prospect, including the installation of storm drains and drainage facilities. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: No person, firm, corporation or other entity shall discharge and sanitary waste or industrial waste water into any storm sewer or drainage facility constructed as part of the Kensington/Wheeling Road improvement, said limits of improvement being between Kensington Road from approximately 565 lineal feet west of Wheeling Road ;to approximately 1037 lineal feet east of Wheeling Road, located within the corporate limits of the Village of Mount Prospect. SECTION TWO: The Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect is authorized and directed to attach a copy of this Ordinance to the Agreement dated February 16, 1993, by and between the State of Illinois and the Village of Mount Prospect relative to the Kensington/Wheeling Road improvement. SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form as the manner provided by law.
