AN ORDINANCE ANNEXINC PROPEFTY TO THE VILLACE OF lWUNT
PROSPECT, WHICH PROPERTY IS 731 FEET SOUTHEASTERLY FROM
BUSSE ROAD, ON THE NORTH SIDE OF ALGONQUIN ROAD.

WHEREAS, written petitions have been filed with the Village
the Villare of Mount Prospect by Walter S. Johnson and Greta
beini" the sole owners of record of the hereinafter described
territory, for annexation to the Villave of Mount Prospect, and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipality but is cofitivuous to the Villave of Mount
Prospect, and
vJHEREAS, Geor!"e Vi. Houck, Dorothy Houck, Hilbur Carlson
and Hattie L. Carlson are the sole electors residin!" thereon and have
jointed in said petition for annexation and have consented thereto,
and
WHEREAS, said petitions are under
comply with the requirements of the Statutes in

NOH, THERFTORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Villape of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1: That all land and territory described in said
petitions, to wit:

That part of Lot 1 in Busse Jr. Division of
v Land in Sec. 23, Twp. Range 11, East of the
Third Principal ~1eridian" I per plat recorded Feb-
ruary 20, 1911, as Documeri~ No. 4709799, described as
follows: Commencin,P' at ar,~nt in the Hest line of
said Lot 1, 448.64 feet sout of the northwest corner
thereof; thence east on th~ ~outh line of the north
448.65 feet of Lot 1, 100 fe~'; thence south parallel
to the west line of Lot l, ;;3~iIc' 79 feet to the southerly
line of Lot 1, beinp the cente~ line of Algonquin Road,
as laid out in Friedrich Bussej~. Division of Land;
thence northwesterly alonp the southerly line of Lot 1,
112.35 feet to the southwest corner of said Lot 1;
thence north on the west line of Lot 1, 321.24 feet to
the place of beFinnin?, in Cook ~ounty, Illinois.

the Third Principal Meridian, as per plat recorded on
February 20, 1911, as Doc. #4709799, described as follows:
Commencin~ at a point in the south line of the north
448.65 feet of said Lot 1, 100 feet east of the west
line thereof; running thence east along the south line
of the north 448.65 feet of Lot 1, 100 feet; thence
Sou'th on a line parallel with the west line of Lot 1,
426.34 feet to the southerly line of Lot 1, beinp the
center line of Al,P'onouin Road, thence northwesterly

to an intersection with a line 100 feet east of
and parallel with the west line of said Lot 1;
thence north alonp said parallel line 373.79 feet
to the point of bepinninp, in Cook County, Illinois.
which territory is contipuous to the Vil1ape of Mount Prospect, is
not within the limits of any municipality, contains electors who have
joined in said petition and is not presently in any incorporated munici-
pality, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount
Prospect so that hereafter said territory shall be included within the
boundary lines and limits of said Villape, as is by law in such case
made and provided.
Section 2. That the Villare Clerk of the Villape of Mount
Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance
tovether with an accurate plat of said territory with the Recorder of
Deeds cf evd :~ ',l,mty, I llino:i s.
Sect ion 3. That this ord in2nce shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passape and approval accordinp to law.
