AN ORDINANCE M~ENDINr; THE VILLAr:E OF MOUNT PROSPECT
ZONING ORDINJI.NCE RELATING TO PROPERTY 731 FEET SOUTH-
EASTERLY FRm1 BUSSE P01\D ON THE NORTH SIDE OF ALGONQUIN
ROAD
WHEREAS, the Board of Appeals of the Villape of Mount Prospect,
sitting as a Zonin~ Commission at a public meetin~ duly called and
held according to law (Appeal No. 63-14), considered the question of
reclassifying the real estate hereinafter described from R-l (Single
Family Residential) to B-2 (Business), and
WHEREAS, the President ~nd Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect, having considered the recommendation of said Zoning
Board of Appeals, find and believe that the highest And best use of
said real estate is that of B-2 (Business),
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois,
Section 1: That an ordinance entitled "7.oninv OrdinancE' of
Mount Prospect" passed and approved April 2, 1963, and known as
Ordinance No. 898, and subsequently amended to date hereof, be amended
by reclassifying the following described real estate from R-l (Single
Family Residential) to B-2 (Bsuiness):
West Parcel: That part of Lot 1 in Friedrich Busse Jr.
Division of Land in Sec. 23, Twp. 41 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, as per plat
recorded February 20, 1911 as Doc. #4709799, described
as follows: Commencinp at a point in the west line of
said Lot 1, 448.65 feet south of the northwest corner
thereof; thence east on the south line of the north 448.65
feet of Lot 1, 100 feet; thence south parallel to the
west line of Lot 1, 373.79 feet to the southerly line
of Lot 1, being the center line of Alponquin Road, as
laid out in Friedrich Busse Jr. Division of Land; thence
northwesterly alonp the southerly line of Lot 1, 112.35
feet to the southwest corner of said Lot 1; thence north
on the west line of Lot 1, 321.24 feet to the place of
bepinninp, in Cook County, Illinois.
East Parcel: That part of Lot 1 in Friedrich Busse Jr.
Division of Land in Section 23, Twp. 41 North, Ranre 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, as per plat
recorded on February 20, 1911, as Doc. #4709799, described
as follows: Commencing at a point in the south line of
the north 448.65 feet of said Lot 1, 100 feet east of the
west line thereof; runninp thence east alonp the soutb
line of the north 448.65 feet of Lot 1, 100 feet; thence
south on a line parallel with the west line of Lot 1,
426.34 feet to the southerly line of Lot 1, beine the
center line of Algonquin Road, thence northwesterly alonp
the southerly line of Lot 1, 112.35 feet to an inter--
section with a line 100 feet east of and parallel with
the west line of said Lot 1; thence north alonp said
parallel line 373.79 feet to the point of beginninp,
in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That said real estate as reclassified shall be
subject to all the limitations and conditions placed upon properties
in the B-2 (Business district) as defined in the ordinances afore-
mentioned.
Section 3: That any person, firm or corporation who violates,
disobeys, omits, nevlects or refuses to comply with or who resists
the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be
fined not more than One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars for each offense,
and each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute
a separate offense.
Section 4: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication accordinv
to law.
PASSED this 25th day of June, 1963.
