ORDINANCE NO. 920
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY TO
MOUNT PROSPECT, WHICH PROPERTY IS
SHAPED PARCEL OF LAND LYING NORTH
AND WEST OF BUSSE ROAD
THE VILLAGE OF
AN IRREGULARLY

WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the
Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect by the
Commonwealth Edison Company, being the sole owner of record
of the hereinafter described land and territory, for annexa-
tion to the Village of Mount Prospect, and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the
corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the
Village of Mount Prospect, and
WHEREAS, there are no electors residing on said property,
and
WHEREAS, said petitions are under oath and in all respects
comply with the requirements of the Statutes in such cases made
and provided, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, have examined said
petitions and believe it to be to the best interest of said
Village that said land and territory be annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois:
Section 1. That all land and territory described in said
I petition (the legal description of said real estate is attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference as if herefully set
out), which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount
Prospect, is not within the limits of any municipality, contains
no electors and is not presently in any incorporated municipality,
be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect,
so that hereafter said territory shall be included within the
boundary lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such
case made and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount
Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this
ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory with
the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.

The West two hundred ten (2l0) feet of the East Half (E-l/2) of
the East Half (E-l/2) of Section Twenty-two (22), lying North
.iof the Northeasterly line of the Illinois State Toll Highway
I'commission Right-of-Way; and the West two hundred ten (210)
feet of the East Half (E-l/2) of the East Half (E-l/2) of Section
Fifteen (15), lying South of the centerline of old Algonquin
Road, all in Township Forty-one (4l) North, Range Eleven (ll)
lEast of the Third Principal Meridian in theCounty of Cook
land State of Illinois;

That part of Lot two (2) in Edward Busse's Division of part of
the Southeast Quarter (SE-l/4) of Section Fifteen (15) and the
Northeast Quarter (NE-l/4) of Section Twenty-two (22), Township
Forty-one (41) North, Range Eleven (11) East of the Third
Principal Meridian, as recorded December 17, 19l9, as Document
No. 6696216 in Cook County, Illinois, described as follows:
Beginning at a point at the intersection of the old centerline
of Algonquin Road with the West line of the East Half (E-l/2)
of the Southeast Quarter (SE-l/4) of said Section Fifteen (l5),
. which point is a distance of one hundred sixty-three and sixty-
four hundredths (163.64) feet North of the Southwest corner of
said East Half (E-l/2) of the Southeast Quarter (SE-l/4); thence
North along the West line of said East Half (E-l/2) of the
