HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 15-08 04/15/2008 RESOLUTION NO. 15-08 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PLAT OF VACATION OF A PORTION OF CERTAIN PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY AT 1630-1780 WALL STREET. LAKE CENTER PLAZA. MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect would be best served by vacating a certain portion of the public right-of-way (bulb of cul-de-sac) as legally described in Exhibit "A"; and WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect have determined that the Village of Mount Prospect has no need for that portion of the public right-of-way and that vacation of the "Property" for the Planned Unit Development at Lake Center Plaza, 1630-1780 Wall Street approved by Ordinance 5617, dated March 6, 2007 serves in the best interest of the Village of Mount Prospect. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That vacation is hereby granted for the public right-of-way (bulb of cul-de-sac) at 1630-1780 Wall Street and the Plat of Vacation attached as Exhibit "B" is hereby approved for appropriate execution and recording. Such Plat and its legal description are incorporated into, and made a part of, this Resolution. SECTION TWO: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
