AN ORDINANCE AMENDIl-TG THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
ZONING ORDINANCE RErATING TO PROPERTY ON NORTH MAIN STREET
RUNNING EASTWARD TO RAND ROAD, BETtVEEN HIGHLAND AND FOUNDRY.
WHEREAS, the Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount
Prospect, sitting as a Zoning Commission at a public meeting duly
called and held according to law (Appeal NO. ~3-'7 ),
considered the question of reclassifying the real estate herein-
after described tr~_l to B-3
AND,WHEREAS, the Presi,dent and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect, having considered the recommendation of
said ZOning Board of Appeals,
find and believe that the highest and best use of said real estate
is that of
B-3
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount prospect, Cook County,
Illinois:
Section 1. That an ordinance entitled "Zoning
Ordinance of Mount prospect" passed and approved April 2, 1963, and
:known as Ordinance No. 898, and as subsequently amended to date
hereof, be amended by reclassifying the fOllowing described real
lestate from
(The legal description of said real estate is
attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference as if here fully set out).
Section 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall
be subject to all the limitations and conditions placed upon prop-
erties in the ~-~ ,
as defined in the ordinances aforementioned.
Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who
violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or
who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this or-
dinance shall be fined not more than One Hundred ($lOO.OO) Dollars
for each offense, and each day that a violation is permitted to
exist shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication,
according to law.

The South 172 feet of the North 683.60 feet of that part
of the North West 1/4 of the North East 1/4 as measured
on the West line thereof of Section 34, Township 42 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying South
West of the center of Rand Road (except the part theretofore
dedicated for Main Street) containing 3.006 acres more or
less, in Cook County, Illinois.
