ORDINANCE NO. 939
AN ORDINANCE M1ENDING THE VILLAGE OF ~IOUNT PROSPECT
ZONING ORDINANCE RELATING TO PROPERTY CO!'l1'IONLY KNOHN
AS VILLA S'r/EDEN.
WHEREAS, the Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect,
sitting as a Zoning Commission at a public meeting duly called and held
according to law (Appeal No. 63-24), considered the question of reclassi-
fying the real estate hereinafter described from R-l to B-3,
AND, HHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Hount Prospect, having considered the recommendation of said Zoning
Board of Appeals, find and believe that the highest and best use of said
real estate is that of B-3 (Business District),
NOH, THE}'EFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Hount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:

;! Section 1. That an ordinance entitled "Zoning Ordinance of I'10unt

II Prospect" passed and approved April 2, 1963, 'ind known as Ordinance Ho. 898,
11.1 and as subsequently amended to date hereof, be amended by reclassifying the
following described real estate from ~-l to B-3:

Lots 10, 11 and 12 in Block One (1) in Arling-
ton ileadoHs bein~; a subdivision of that part
of the \Jest half (1/2) of the Southwest quarter
(1/4) lying Northeasterly of the center line of
Rand '?oad in Sec. 27, Twp. 42 North, ~anse 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook
County, Illinois.
Ii Section 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall be subject
I!I' to all the limitations and conditions placed upon properties in the B-3
district as defined in the ordinances aforementioned.

Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation v;ho violates,
disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the en-
forcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not more
than One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars for each offense, and each day that a
violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication, according to law.
