WHEREAS, Harley Kahn filed an application for a sign variation to the maximum sign face square footage
and minimum setback requirements for a directory sign on the property commonly known as 2420 E.

WHEREAS, the subject property is described as follows:
THE NORTH 451.44 FEET OF THE WEST 283.0 FEET OF THE EAST 974.0 FEET OF THE SOUTH

WHEREAS, the Petitioner seeks a sign variation from the provisions of Section 7.302.F.2, Section
7.302F.3. of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois to allow a 48.75 square foot sign face, as shown
on the attached Exhibit A, a 0 -foot setback as shown in Exhibit B; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the sign variation request (designated as Case No. PZ -16-22)
before the Planning & Zoning Commission in the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois on July 14, 2022
pursuant to due and proper notice thereof published in the Daily Herald Newspaper on June 29, 2022;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning & Zoning Commission does hereby grant a variation to signage to
allow a sign face of 48.75 square feet and a 0 -foot setback as shown as the plans drawn by Oakton
Industrial, LLC.
Except for the variation granted herein, all other applicable Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois ordinances
and regulations shall remain in full force and effect as to the subject property.
PASSED AND APPROVED the 14' day of July 2022 and effective five (5) days after this date, as
provided for by Section 5.504.E of the Mount Prospect Code.
