Information
Recently, Bricks On Ice notified the Village that they will not be renewing their
Mount Prospect Ice Arena liquor license. At the May 17, 2022 Village Board
meeting, Courtland's Ice House was approved for a Class "F-3" liquor license and
have taken over the operations of the Sports Complex.
Alternatives
1. Approve ordinance decreasing the number of Class "F-1" liquor licenses
2. Action at discretion of Village Board
Staff recommends approval in order to maintain an accurate number of liquor
licenses.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 OF THE
VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT
PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS ACTING IN THE EXERCISE OF THEIR HOME RULE POWERS:
SECTION ONE: That in accordance with Subsection A of Section 13.108 of Chapter 13 of the Village Code
of Mount Prospect, as amended, the Corporate Authorities shall determine the number of Liquor Licenses
available in each Classification and shall establish a list specifying the number of Liquor Licenses
authorized. Said list is hereby amended decreasing the number of Class "F-1" license by One (1)
BRICKS ON ICE LLC d/b/a BRICKS WOOD FIRED PIZZA CAFE located at 1550 Feehanville Drive,
Mount Prospect, IL. Said list is as follows:
