HHEH.EAS, a majority of the property mmers of record, OHners of
record of more than fifty percent of the land in the territory described,
and a majority of the electors of said territory hereinafter described
and commonly knovm as bluett's Subdivision have souGht to annex said area,
hereinafter more fully described, to the Villa[;e of flount Prospect, and
'dHJ::R:bAS, said property mmers and residents, to accom~lish said
purpose, have filed a petition to annex with the County Court of Cook
County, Case No. 63 Co 5139, in accordance with the Statutes of the State
of Illinois made and provided, and
VlHI:;RJ:AS, Judge Thaddeus V. Adesko, JudGe of the County Court of
Cook County, did on October 29, 1963 enter an order, a certified copy of
which is marked Exhibit 1, attached hereto and made a part of this ordi-
nance by reference as if fully set forth, Hhich order did find that the
petition to annex the hereinafter described property, was signed by a
majority of the property o~ners of record, OHners of record of more than
fifty percent of the land in the territory described, and a majority of
the electors of the territory herein described, and that said petition did
comply in all respects with the laws of the State of Illinois, that the
territory described in said petition and referred to below was in fact
contiguous to the VillaEe of Mount Prospect and did duly certify the area
to be annexed, and

Hi-lEREAS, a copy of said order 'das duly transmitted to the Village
Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect in accordance with the statutes made
and provided; she having received same, and
HHEREAS, it is deemed to the best interests of the Villa;:;e of Hount
Prospect that the property hereinafter described and commonly known as
~luett's Subdivision be annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect,
j~OVl, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINI:D by the President and Board of
Trustees or the Village or Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That land and territory described in tlle above
mentioned petition and the above mentioned order, to Hit:
Parcell:
Bluett's Subdivision of part or the North Half of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 34, TOHnship 42 North,
Range 11, East or the Third Principal Meridian, in
Cook County, Illinois
and
Parcel 2:
That part of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 or
Township !}2 North, Range 11, East or the
Principal Meridian described as follows:

on a point on the West line of said NW 1/4 of
the SW 1/4, which point is 359 feet North of
the Southwest corner of said NW 1/4 of the S0
1/4, thence Last parallel with the South line
of said NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4, a distance of
223.85 feet to the center line of Rand Road;
thence Horthwesterly along the said center
line of Rand Road, a distance of 450.02 feet
to thedest line of the saiJ in-J 1/4 of the Svl

Jistance of 389.21 feet, to the place of begin-
ning

tion 35, Township 42 North, Ran~e 11, East of
the Third Princi~al Meridian, described as

Principal :ler'idian, thence north along the ',lest
line of said Nil l/4 of the S\' 1/4 a distance of
359 feet; thence east parallel with the south
line of the NW 1/1+ of the :;\1 1/4 a distance of
223.85 feet, to the center of Rand Road; thence
southeasterly along the center of Rand Road, to
a point on the south line of the Iril l/4 of the
S\'l 1/4, 430.28 feet east of the S\I corner there-
of; thence ,rest 430.28 feet, to the place of
beginning,
all of which said territory is located in Cook County, Illinois;
WHICH territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect, is not
within the limits of any municipality, and which has sought annexation
through petition to the County Court of Cook County, Case No. 63 Co 5139,
and which petition has led to the entry of an order by Judge Thaddeus V.
Adesko on October 29, 1963, which order did duly find that the territory
described in said petition and described above Has in fact contiguous
to the Village of 110unt prospect, that said petition Has signed by a
majority of the property owners of record, OImers of record of more than
fifty percent of land of the territory, and a majority of electors on the
territory therein described, and that the proceedings and petition filed
\Vere in all res;?ects in full compliance Hith the Statutes applicable there-
to, particularly Illinois Revised Statutes, Chapter 24, Sections 7-1-2
through 7-1-5, and which order certified the area to be annexed as above
set forth, is hereby annexed to the Villa;:;e of l'lount Prospect so that here-
after said territory shall be included within the boundary lines and limits
of said Village of Mount Prospect, as is by law in such case made and pro-
vided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect

with an accurate plat of survey of said territory, to be provided by the
Village :engineer, Hith the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and the expiration of thirty days
from date thereof, in accordance with Section 7-1-5 of Chapter 24 of the
Illinois Revised Statutes (Municipal Code 1961).
