ORDINANCE NO. 966
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT ZONING
ORDINANCE RELATING TO PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 10, 12
AND 110 EAST RAND ROAD.
WHEREAS, the Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect,
sitting as a Zoning Commission at a public meeting duly called and held
according to law (Appeal No. 64-10), considered the question of reclassifying
the real estate hereinafter described from R-l to B-3 and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect, having considered the recommendation of said Zoning Board of
Appeals, find and believe that the highest and best use of said real estate
is that of B-3
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Mount prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
Sectionl. That an ordinance entitled "Zoning Ordinance of Mount
Prospect" passed and approved April 2, 1963, and known as Ordinance No. 898,
and as subsequently amended to date hereof, be amended by reclassifying the
following described real estate from R-l to B-3:
That part lying N of the Center line of Rand Road of
the W 284.24 ft of the E 774.24 ft of the NW quarter
of the NE quarter of Sect. 34, Twp 42 N, R 11, E of the
3rd PM, in Cook County, Illinois
also
Beginning at a point 2906.86 ft E of NW corner of Sect.
34, Thence S 45040' E for a distance of 108.62 ft. to a
point of intersection with a curve and tangent and be-
ginning of said tract, thence continuing S 45040' E for
a distance of 268.69 ft., thence N 0008'30" W for a
distance of 230.50 ft., thence N 89059'30" W for a dis-
tance of 173.64 ft. to a point of curvature, thence
concave southerly for a distance of 59.23 ft. with a
radius of 25.0 ft. to a point of tangency and beginning of
survey of that part lying NE of the center line of Rand
Road of the NW quarter of the NE quarter (except the E
774.24 ft. thereof as measured on the N line thereof) of
Section 34, Twp 42 N, R 11 E of the 3rd PM.
Section 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall be subject
to all the limitations and conditions placed upon properties in the B-3, as
defined in the ordinances aforementioned.
Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who violates,
disobeys. omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the en-
forcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not more
than One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars for each offense. and each day that a
violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication, according to law.

WHEREAS, the Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount
prospect, sitting as a Zoning Commission at a public meeting duly

after described from R-1 to B-3
AND,WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect, having considered the recommendation of
said Zoning Board of Appeals,
find and believe that the highest and best use of said real estate
is that of B-3
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois:
Section 1. That an ordinance entitled "Zoning
Ordinance of Mount Prospect" passed and approved April 2, 1963,
known as Ordinance No. 898, and as Subsequently amended to date
hereof, be amended by reclassifying the following described real
estate from

R-l to B-3
(The legal description of said real estate is
attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference as if here fully set out).
Section 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall
be subject to all the limitations and conditions placed upon prop-
erties in the B-3 ,
as defined in the ordinances aforementioned.
Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who
