AH ORDINANCE AMEflTDING THE VILLAGE OF MOU~TT !ROSPECT'S
ZONING ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE NORTHEAST CORNER
OF CAMP Me DONALD ROAD ANn ELMHURST ROAD, APPROXIMATELY
TWO ACRES.
WHEREAS, the Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount
Prospect, sitting as a Zoning Commission at a public meeting
duly called and held according to law (Appeal No. t
considered the question of reclassifying the real estate here-
inafter described from R-l to B-3.
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect, having considered the recommendation
of the said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that the
highest and best use of said real estate is that of B-3.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois:
Sect ion 1. That an ordinance entitled "Zoning Ordinance
of Mount ~rospect" passed and approved April 2, 1983, and known
as Ordinance No. 898, and as subsequently amended to date hereof
be amended by reclassi~ing the following described real estate
from R-l to B-3.
The East 255 feet of the North 337 feet of the
NorthWest quarter of Section 27, Township 42
North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2.

That said real estate as reclassified shall

B-3 district, as defined in the ordinances
Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who
violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with
or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this
ordinance shall be fined not more than One Hundred ($100.00)
Dollars for each offense, and each day that a violation is
permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 4~ That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication,
according to law.
