AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING .741 ACRES FRONTING ON
BUSSE ROAD AND LYING 575 FEET SOUTH OF CENTRAL
ROAD, ON THE EAST SIDE OF BUSSE ROAD

WHEREAS, property legally described as follows: The
North 100 feet of the South 780 feet of Lot "F" in Kirchoff's
Subdivision of the Northeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section
10, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal
Meridian; The East 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast
1/4 of Section 10, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third
Principal Meridian; The Northwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of
\/ Section 11, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Prin-
cipal Meridian; The North 10 chains of the Southwest 1/4 of the
Northwest 1/4 of Section 11, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of
The Third Principal Meridian being a tract of land 10 chains wide
from North to South and 20.17 chains long from East to West con-
taining 20.17 acres. The following in Section 33, Township 42
North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian: The South
1/2 of the Southwest 1/4; that part of the West 1/2 of the North-
west 1/4 that lies South of the C. & NW. Ry.; Northwest 1/4 of
the Southwest 1/4; that part of the Northeast 1/4 of the South-
west 1/4 that lies South of the C. & NW. Ry.; and the West 14-1/2
acres of that part of the West 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 that lies
South of the e. & NW. Ry., in Cook County, Illinois, is within
the unincorporated territory of Cook County, and not within any
municipality and is less than sixty (60) acres in area; and

WHEREAS, said land and territory is both contiguous
and wholly bounded by the Village of Mount Prospect; and

WHEREAS, the Statutes of the State of Illinois, and
particularly Section 7-1-13 of Chapter 24 thereof (Illinois
Revised Statutes 1963) provides for the annexation of said ter-
ritory upon the passage of an ordinance by the Village; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees~of the Vil-
lage of Mount Prospect, County of Cook, finds and believe it to be
to the best interest of said Village that the aforedescribed land
and territory be annexed thereto;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, County of Cook, Illi-

that part of the West 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 that
lies South of the C. & NW. Ry., in Cook County, Illinois.
Which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect
and is wholly bounded by the Village of Mount Prospect and is
not presently in any incorporated municipality but is in the
unincorporated territory of Cook County and whereas said terri-
tory is less than sixty (60) acres in size, be and the same is
hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect so that hereafter
said territory shall be included within the boundary lines and
limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made and provided.

Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of
Mount Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of
this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory
with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.

Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
