AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING .9954 ACRES OF LAND ON
EAST GOLF ROAD BETWEEN MAPLE DRIVE AND COUNTRY

WHEREAS, property legally described as follows: The
South 200 feet (as measured along the West line) of the West
200 feet (as measured along the North line of Golf Road) of
Lot 16 in the Owner's Subdivision of Section 13, Township 41
North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian together
with that part of Golf Road lying South of and adjoining the
aforesaid tract and North of the center line of Golf Road
aforesaid, in Cook County, Illinois, is within the unincorporated
territory of Cook County, and not within any municipality and
is less than sixty (60) acres in area; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is both contiguous and
wholly bounded by the Village of Mount Prospect,and City of Des
Plaines; and
WHEREAS, the Statutes of the State of Illinois, and part-
icularly Section 7-1-13 of Chapter 24 thereof (Illinois Revised
Statutes 1963) provides for the annexation of said territory upon
the passage of an ordinance by the Village; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Vil-
lage of Mount Prospect, County of Cook, finds and believe it to
be to the best interest of said Village that the aforedescribed
land and territory be annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, County of Cook,
Illinois:
Section 1. That all land and territory legally described
as follows, to-wit:

of Golf Road) of Lot 16 in the Owner's Subdivision of

Road lying South of and adjoining the aforesaid tract
and North of the center line of Golf Road aforesaid,
in CooK County, Illinois.
Which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect and
is wholly bounded by the Village of Mount Prospect and the City of
Des Plaines and is not presently in any incorporated municipality
but is in the unincorporated territory of Cook County and whereas
said territory is less than sixty (60) acres in size, be and the
same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect so that
hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary
lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made
and provided.

Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of
Mount Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of
this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory
with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
