AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT, WHICH PROPERTY IS LOCATED ADJACENT
TO WEST LINE OF GREEN ACRES, BETWEEN LONNQUIST
BLVD. AND GOLF ROAD
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the
Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect by Schavilje and
Knuth, Inc., an Illinois corporation, being the sole owner of
record of the hereinafter described land and territory, for
annexation to the Village of Mount Prospect; and

WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the
corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the
Village of Mount Prospect, is uninhabited and has no electors
residing thereon; and
WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects
complies with the requirements of the statutes in such case made
and provided; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Mount Prospect have examined said petition, have considered the
question of annexation of the territory described therein, and
believe it to be to the best interests of the municipality that
such territory be in fact annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1: That all lands and territories described in
said petition, to wit:
That part of the West 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of
,. Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of
the Third Principal Meridian, lying North of the
center line of Seeger's Road (Golf Road), (eKcept
the West 25 acres thereof and except that part thereof
described as follows: Beginning at the intersection
of the center line of Golf Road (as per plat of
dedication recorded December 10, 1929 as Doc. No.
105-50-568 with the East line of the West half
of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section 14; thence
North along said East line of said West half 500
feet; thence West at right angles to last described
line,300 feet; thence South at right angles to last
described line to a line 100 feet Northerly of (as
measured at right angles) and parallel with said
center line of Golf Road; thence Northwesterly along
last described parallel line 214.08 feet more or less
to the East line of the West 25' acres of that part
of the West half of said Northwest 1/4 lying North of
Seegers Road, as occupied in Busse Country Estates,
as plat thereof registered December 6, 1939 as Doc.
No. 841-391; thence South along last described line
101.86 feet more or less to said center line of Golf
Road; thence Southeasterly along said center line of
Golf Road to the place of beginning), all in Cook
County, Illinois

which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect,
is not within the limits of any municipality, contains no
electors and is not presently in any incorporated municipality,
be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect,
so that hereafter said territory shall be included within the
boundary lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such
case made and provided.

Section 2: That the Village Clerk of the Village of
Mount Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of
this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory
with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.
