ORDINANCE NO. 1058
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT:
Section 1. Map 32-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby further amended by classifying
from the R-l Single-Family Residence District to the B-3 Business--Retail
and Service District, the following described territory:
That part of Lot 2 in Edw. Busse's Div. of part of the
SE 1/4 of Sec. 15 and the NE 1/4 of Sec. 22, Twp. 41 N,
R-ll E 3rd P.M. as recorded Dec. 17, 1919 as Doc. #6696216,
in Cook County, Ill. described as follows: Beginning
at a pt. in the old center line of Algonquin Rd. which
is 210 ft. East of (measured at rt. angles to) the
West line of the E 1/2 of said SE 1/4; thence N along
a line 210 ft. East of and parallel with the W line of
the E 1/2 of said SE 1/4 a distance of 103.05 ft. to an
angle pt; thence NEly along a diagonal line drawn from
said angle pt. to a pt. in the E line of said Lot 2
which is 326.25 ft. North of the South line of said
Sec. 15 (as measured along the E line of said Lot 2) a
distance of 333.85 ft. to a point (said point being
636.08 ft. SWly of the East line of said Lot 2 as measured
along said diagonal line); thence SEly along a line drawn
at rt. angles to said diagonal line a distance of 219.82
ft. to the South line of said SE 1/4; thence West along
said South line a distance of 259.56 ft. to the inter-
section of said South line with said old center line of
Algonquin Rd; thence NWly along said old center line a
distance of 121.80 ft. to the point of beginning.
That part of Lot 2 in Edward Busse's Division of part of
the S.E. 1/4 of Section 15, and the N.E. 1/4 of Section
22, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal
Meridian, as recorded December 17, 1919 as Document #6696216,
in Cook County, Illinois, described as follows: Commencing
at a point in the old center line of Algonquin Road which
is 210 feet East of (measured at right angles to) the West
line of the East half of said S.E. 1/4; thence North along
a line 210 feet East of and parallel with the West line of
the East half of said S.E. 1/4 a distance of 103.05 feet
to an angle point; thence Northeasterly along a diagonal
line drawn from said angle point to a point in the East
line of said Lot 2 which is 326.25 feet North of the South
line of said Section 15 (as measured along the East line
of said Lot 2) a distance of 783.08 feet for a point of
beginning of this parcel of land (said point of beginning
is 186.85 feet Southwesterly of the East line of said
Lot 2 as measured along said diagonal line); thence
continuing Northeasterly along said diagonal line a
distance of 186.85 feet to a point in the East line
of said Lot 2; thence South along the East line of
said Lot 2 a distance of 326.25 feet to the inter-
section of said East line with the South line of said
S.E. 1/4; thence West along said South line a distance
of 181 feet to a point; thence North along a line
drawn at right angles to said South line a distance of
294 feet to the point of beginning of this parcel of
land.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner pro-
vided by law.
