ORDINANCE NO. 1059
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT:
Section 1. Map 38-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
Mount Prospect, as amended, is further amended by classifying from the
R-l Single- Family Residence District to the B-3 Business--Retail and
Service District, the following described territory:
That part of Lot 2 in EDWARD BUSSE'S DIVISION of
part of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 15 and the
Northeast 1/4 of Section 22, Township 41 North,
Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian, as
per plat recorded in the Recorder's Office of
Cook County, Illinois on December 17, 1919, as
Document Number 6696216, lying East of a line
drawn 362.98 feet West of and parallel with the
East line of said Lot 2 and South of the North
line of said Section 22, in Cook County, Illinois,
except the fOllowing described property: Commenc-
ing at the intersection of the East line of the
aforesaid Lot 2 with the North line of the said
Section 22, thence West along said North line of
said Section 22 a distance of 362.98 feet to a
point, thence South along a line drawn at a 900
angle to the said North line of the said Section
22 a distance of 157.60 feet for a point of begin-
ning, thence continuing South along the said line a
distance of 50 feet to an angle point; thence South-
easterly along a diagonal line drawn from the said
angle point to a point of intersection with a line
drawn parallel to and 154.98 feet West of the said
East line of Lot 2, thence North along the said line
a distance of 155 feet to a point, thence West along
a line drawn at a 900 angle to the last described
course a distance of 208 feet to the point of begin-
ning, and, except that part falling in streets and
highways, if any.
Section 2. Map 38-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby further amended by classifying
from the R-l Single-Family Residence District to the P-l Off-Street
Parking District, the following described territory:
That part of Lot 2 in EDWARD BUSSE'S DIVISION of
part of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 15 and the
Northeast 1/4 of Section 22, Township 41 North,
Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian, as
per plat recorded in the Recorder's Office of Cook
County, Illinois on December 17, 1919, as Document
Number 6696216, lying East of a line drawn 362.98
feet West of and parallel with the East line of
said Lot 2 and South of the North line of said
Section 22, in Cook County, Illinois, which is
bounded and described as follows: Commencing at
the intersection of the East line of the aforesaid
Lot 2 with the North line of the said Section 22,
thence West along said North line of said Section
22 a distance of 362.98 feet to a point, thence
South along a line drawn at a 900 angle to the said
North line of the said Section 22 a distance of
157.60 feet for a point of beginning, thence continu-
ing South along the said line a distance of 50 feet
to an angle point; thence Southeasterly along a
diagonal line drawn from the said angle point to a
point of intersection with a line drawn parallel to
and 154.98 feet West of the said East line of Lot 2,
thence North along the said line a distance of 155
feet to a point, thence West along a line drawn at a
900 angle to the last described course a distance of
208 feet to the point of beginning, except that part
falling in streets and highways, if any.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided
by law.
