ORDINANCE NO. 1063
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT
WHEREAS, the Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect
has heretofore recommended the approval of an application for a special
use permit to allow the Chicago Title and Trust Co., as Trustee under
Trust No. 47021, to construct a swimming pool on its property located on
the west side of Busse Road north of Algonquin Road and directly north
of and adjacent to the Commonwealth Edison Company right-of-way; and,
WHEREAS, the construction of a swimming pool is permitted as a
special use under the existing R-4 Planned Residential Development Dis-
trict regulations of the Mount Prospect Zoning Ordinance; and,
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Mount Prospect have considered the application for a special use
permit and have determined that granting such a special use permit at
the above location would be in the best interest of the Village of Mount
Prospect;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT:
SECTION ONE: That a special use permit be, and it is hereby,
granted to allow the Chicago Title and Trust Co., as Trustee under Trust
No. 47021, to construct a swimming pool on the following described prop-
erty:
The East 582 feet as measured at right angles to the
East line thereof of that part of Lot 2 in Edward
Busse's Division of Part of the Southeast quarter of
Section 15 and the Northeast quarter of Section 32
of Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian as per Plat recorded in the Recorder's
Office of Cook County, Illinois, December 17, 1919, as
document No. 6696216, lying South of the North 759.54
feet thereof as measured on the East and West lines of
said Lot 2 and lying Northerly of a line drawn from a
point on the West line of the East half of the Southeast
quarter of said Section 15 335.56 feet north of the
Southwest corner of said East half of the Southeast
quarter to a point on the East line of said Lot 2 539.80
feet North of the South line of said Section 15 (as
measured along the East line of said Lot 2) in Cook
County, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: That the Superintendent of Building of the Vil-
lage of Mount Prospect is hereby directed to issue, upon proper applica-
tion, such permits and certificates of occupancy as are required to
utilize the said premises, or portion thereof, for the construction of
a swimming pool as a special use.
SECTION THREE: This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner
provided by law.
