A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO SIGN CONVEYANCE DOCUMENTS
REGARDING THE STATE RIGHT-OF-WAY ASSOCIATED WITH THE CHASE BANK PROJECT
LOCATED AT 108 S. MAIN STREET MOUNT PROSPECT VLLINOI S
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect seeks to convey property to the People of the State of Illinois,
Department of Transportation for highway purposes for no value; and
WHEREAS, the property located at 108 S. Main Street, Mount Prospect (the "Subject Property"), would
increase the right-of-way adjacent to the Chase Bank building by 4' and allow for new street lights to be
located within that right-of-way.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS PURSUANT TO ITS HOME RULE
POWERS:
SECTION ONE: The Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect do hereby authorize and direct the
Village Manager to convey the Subject Property to the People of the State of Illinois, Department of
Transportation for highway purposes as right-of-way for no value.
SECTION TWO.: That it be further resolved that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
authorize and direct the Village Manager to execute and deliver such instruments as may be necessary or
convenient to consummate such conveyance.
SECTION TWO: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval in the manner provided by law.

The People of the State of Illinois, Department of Transportation (Grantee) acknowledges receipt of
Donation of Right of Way covering 0.015 acres dated in Cook County, State of Illinois as right of way for
South Main Street, Route IL 83, Section P/A , and executed by the undersigned Grantor for the parcel
referenced above.
Grantor and Grantee agree as follows:
1. All improvements located, wholly or partially, on the parcel being conveyed shall become the property of
the State of Illinois, unless provided as follows: none
Z Grantor and Grantee agree that possession and transfer of legal title to Grantee occurs when title has
been reviewed and approved by Grantee in accordance with Section 9.02 of the Illinois State Finance
Act. The Grantor also agrees to protect, preserve and maintain the property and improvements
purchased by Grantee until delivery of possession to Grantee, and this shall be the sole responsibility of
the Grantor until such time.
This Receipt and conveyance documents are the entire and exclusive agreement between the parties
and supersede any writte'n or oral understanding promise or agreement, directly or indirectly related to
the donation of the parcel and improvements. The parties agree that any changes to this Receipt may
only be made in writing and signed by the parties.
