AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT
PROSPECT 12.68 ACRES OF LAND LYING SOUTH OF
LINCOLN STREET AT THE INTERSECTION OF BONITA AVENUE
WHEREAS, a written petition under oath signed by all
the owners of record of the land hereinafter described, and
all the electors residing thereon, has been filed with the
Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect requesting that
said land be annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
\fHEREAS, said land is not within the corporate limits
of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Mount

NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF PROPERTY
LOCATED IN ELK GROVE RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
To: Trustees of the Elk Grove Rural Fire Protection District
Mr. Edwin Meier, 1702 Myrtle Drive,
Mount Prospect, Illinois
Mr. George Honemann, 914 South We-Go
Trail, Mount Prospect, Illinois
Mr. Robert A. Schnell, Algonquin Road,
Elk Grove, Illinois
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7-1-1 of the
Illinois Municipal Code, as amended August 3, 1965, you, and
each of you, as Trustees of the Elk Grove Rural Fire Protection
District, are hereby notified that the corporate authorities of
the Village of Mount Prospect will consider the annexation of
certain property within the corporate limits of the Elk Grove
Rural Fire Protection District at a regular meeting of the said
corporate authorities of the said Village in the Village Hall
in Mount Prospect, Illinois, on November 16, 1965, at 8:00 p.m.,
which said property is commonly known as the Sam J. and Jenny
Brocato and Frank and Mable Brocato property consisting of
approximately 12.68 acres located adjacent to the southwest
corporate limits of the Village of Mount Prospect, south of
Lincoln Street at the intersection of Bonita Avenue, and is
more particularly described as:
Parcel IlA": The North 329.44 feet of the South
658.83 feet (except the South 160.0 feet of the
West 250.0 feet thereof) of Lot One in O~merls
Division, being a Subdivision of the Southeast
Quarter (except the West Half of the Southwest
Quarter) of Section 10, Township 41 North,
Range 11, East df the Third Principal Meridian;
also, Parcel liB": The North 329.48 feet of the
South 988.31 feet of Lot One in Owner's Division,
being a Subdivision of the Southeast Quarter
(except the West Half of the Southwest Quarter-
thereof) of Section 10, Tovmship 41 North, Range
11, East of the Third Principal Meridian; also,
Parcel "CIl: The East Half of Lot One (except
the South 988.31 feet thereof) in Owner's Divi-
sion, being a Subdivision of the Southeast

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN LANDS
TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
The undersigned, being the owners of record of all land
within the following described real estate, hereby request the
annexation of the hereinafter described real estate to the Village
of Mount Pro.pect and, in support thereof, represent to the Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois
as follows:
1. The undersigned, SAM J. BROCATO and JENNIE BROCATO, his
wife, are the owners in fee simple of the following described
real estate not within the corporate limits of any municipality,
but contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois:
The North 329.44 feet of the South 658.83 feet of Lot
One (1) in Owners' Division, being a Subdivision of the
Southeast Quarter (except the West half of the South-
west Quarter) of Section 10, Township 41 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian; and
The furth 329.48 feet of the South 988.31 feet of
Lot One (1) in Owners' Division, being a subdivision
of the Southeast Quarter (except the West half of
the Southwest Quarter thereof) of Section 10, Town-
ship 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
2. The undersigned, FRANK BROCATO and MABEL BROCATO, his
wife, are the owners in fee simple of the following described
real ~ate not within the corporate limits of any municipality
but contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois:
The East half of Lot One (1) (except the South 988.31
feet thereof) in Owners' Division, being a Subdivision
of the Southeast Quarter (except the West half of the
Southwest Quarter thereof) of Section 10, Township 41
North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian
in Ceok County, Illinois.
3. The hereinabove described real estate is included in
a Plat of Annexation attached hereto as Exhibit A, and made a
part hereof by reference.
4. There are no electors other than the undersigned individuals
who join in this petition residing on the hereinabove described real
estate.
5. The petitioners desire that said land be annexed to the
Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois.
WHEREFORE, the petitioners pray that the corporate authorities
of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois pass an
