RESOLUTION APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT
RESOLUTION NO. R-05-21
WHEREAS, Vinessa Lullo filed an application for a variation to the accessory structure height and square
footage regulations for the property commonly known as 707 See Gwun Avenue in the Village of Mount
Prospect, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the subject property is described as follows:
LOT 15 IN BLOCK 25 IN PROSPECT PARK COUNTRY CLUB SUBDIVISION IN THE SOUTHEAST
QUARTER OF SECTION 11 AND THE SOUTH 15 ACRES OF THE EAST HALF OF THE
NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 11, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 11, EAST OF THE
THIRD PRINICPAL MERIDIAN, IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
Property Index Number: 08-11-425-004-0000; and
WHEREAS, the Petitioner seeks a variation from the provisions of Section 14.306 of the Village Code of
Mount Prospect, Illinois to allow for construction of a shed not to exceed twelve feet, three and a half inches
(12'-3 1/2") in height and one -hundred and ninety-two (192) square feet in area; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the variation request (designated as Case No. PZ -05-21) before
the Planning & Zoning Commission in the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois on July 8, 2021 pursuant to
due and proper notice thereof published in the Journal & Topics Newspaper on June 23, 2021.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning & Zoning Commission does hereby grant a variation to the
accessory structure maximum height and square footage requirements to allow a new shed on the property
located at 707 See Gwun Avenue, as shown on the plans prepared by the homeowner dated June 18, 2021
and attached as Exhibit A.
Except for the variation granted herein, all other applicable Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois ordinances
and regulations shall remain in full force and effect as to the subject property.
PASSED AND APPROVED the 8th day of July, 2021 and effective five (5) days after this date, as
provided for by Section 5.504.E of the Mount Prospect Code.
