PZ-07-07, 601 East Kensington Road (Exhibit A) 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE IN THE NATURE OF A MIXED USE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 601 EAST KENSINGTON ROAD This ordinance grants a Conditional Use permit to construct a mixed use Industrial/commercial planned unit development. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval by a vote of 7-0. XI. NEW BUSINESS A. PZ-19-07, 585 Slawin Court, First Industrial Realty Trust (Exhibit B) 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE TO GRANT A VARIATION FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 585 SLAWIN COURT This ordinance grants a variation to construct a one story office/warehouse and create a 3-foot landscape side yard setback. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 5-0. B. PZ-33-06, 1011 Cypress Drive, 1013 Cypress Drive, 1010 Lancaster Street and 1012 Lancaster Street, Schiro's Resubdivision 1. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE VACATING CERTAIN PROPERTY (PUBLIC (Exhibit C) RIGHT OF WAY) OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This ordinance approves a Plat of Vacation for undeveloped pedestrian right-of-way owned by the Village. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval by a vote of 5-0. 2. A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FINAL PLAT OF RESUBDIVISION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1011 CYPRESS, 1013 CYPRESS, 1010 LANCASTER AND1012 LANCASTER This ordinance approves a Plat of Resubdivision to consolidate the vacated pedestrian right-of-way with the adjacent properties. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval by a vote of 5-0. C. PZ-15-07, 701 East Prospect Avenue, Structures Construction LLC 1. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 701 EAST PROSPECT AVENUE This ordinance rezones the subject property from 11 Limited Industrial to R4 Multi-family to allow a 12 unit rowhome development. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 5-0. 2. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND VARIATION IN THE NATURE OF A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT ROWHOME DEVELOPMENT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 701 EAST PROSPECT AVENUE This ordinance grants a Conditional Use permit to construct a rowhome planned unit development. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval by a vote of 5-0. (Exhibit D) (Exhibit E) (Exhibit F) D. PZ-16-07, 401 East Kensington Avenue, Terra Architects 1. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 401 EAST KENSINGTON AVENUE This ordinance rezones the subject property from RX Single Family to R2 Attached Single Family to allow a 11 unit townhome development. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended by a vote of to deny the request; adoption of the ordinance requires a super majority vote for approval. 2. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND VARIATION IN THE NATURE OF A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT TOWNHOME DEVELOPMENT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 401 EAST KENSINGTON AVENUE This ordinance grants a Conditional Use permit to construct a town home planned unit development. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended by a vote of 5-0 to deny the request; adoption of the ordinance requires a super majority vote for approval. E. PZ-23-07, Text Amendment, Village of Mount Prospect 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14 (ZONING) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This ordinance amends Section 14.311 "Outdoor Sales and Storage," to require outdoor dining permits for areas within the public right-of-way only and not on private property. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 5-0. F. PZ-24-07, Text Amendment, Village of Mount Prospect 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14 (ZONING) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This ordinance amends Section 14.202 to allow unenclosed porches the required front yard with administrative review and approval from the Director of Community Development; Section 14.203 to include exception created with the addition of Section 14.316 which allows administrative review of unenclosed front porches in the required front yard. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 5-0. G. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT TO ACCEPT TITLE TO CERTAIN PROPERTY DONATED TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This resolution authorizes the Village to accept title to property located at 902 Ardyce Lane and 608 Meier Road, Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois. H. * A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT AND CAPANNARI, INC. (CAPANNARIICE CREAM) This resolution authorizes the Village to enter into a contract with Capannari, Inc. (Capannari Ice Cream) for the operation of an ice cream parlor in the former Downtown General Store located at 10 South Pine Street. I. * A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT AND THE REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY (RTA) This resolution authorizes filing of the Village of Mount Prospect's final application for assistance with a public transportation system plan through the Regional Technical Assistance Program (RTAP). Amendment to Independent Contractor Agreement Between Administrative Adjudication Hearing Officer and the Village of Mount Prospect This amendment increases the hourly rate of the Administrative Adjudication Hearing Officer. *B. Request Village Board approval to reject bids for Linneman Road Improvements. * C. Request Village Board approval to waive bid and accept proposal for additional tree removal contract in an amount not to exceed $75,000. D. Status XIII. OTHER BUSINESS XIV.
