The lockers in the Public Works facility are original to the building construction (1988) and have met useful life expectancy. The lockers are installed in the men and women's locker rooms and are used by 65 employees on daily basis storing uniforms, work boots, outdoor gear and etc. The current lockers are poor condition showing significant wear and tear including ill-fitting doors, rust, and dents. In addition, replacement parts are becoming increasingly difficult to locate. The proposed lockers are standard 18"W X 24" D X 72" H lockers including one fixed shelf with garment hanger, hasp for owner supplied padlock and number tag installed on front door. The Village has experience with Spacesaver as the lockers are currently installed at the Police Headquarters and Fire Station 13. To date the experience has been very positive meeting the daily needs of the officers and fire personnel. 1 Joint Purchasing Agreement OMNIA Partners, Public Sector, formerly U.S. Communities, has an existing contract (OMNIA Partners contract #R191808) with Spacesaver (subsidiary of Krueger International). The Village is a member of OMNIA Partners, Public Sector. The OMNIA Partners, Public Sector contract satisfies the public bidding requirements of the Village of Mount Prospect purchasing policy. Purchasing is completed via the authorized Spacesaver area contractor, which is Bradford Systems of Elmhurst, Illinois. Alternatives 1. Accept the joint bid results for the purchase of 90 Spacesaver lockers and associated components. 2. Action at the discretion of the Village Board.
