This Public Hearing, called pursuant to proper legal notice having been
published in the Mount Prospect Journal & Topics on December 3rd
and in the Mount Prospect Herald on December 4, is for the purpose of
presenting the annual budget for the Village of Mount Prospect for fiscal
year 1998 and the property tax levy for 1997.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE AND THE FOREST
RIVER FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
This annual Agreement, required by Court Order, provides for
the Village to provide emergency services of the Mount Prospect
Fire Department to those portions of unincorporated Cook
County located within the Forest River Fire Protection District.

1. One tractor with articulated telescopic 28 foot boom
arm type rotary cutter
2. One 25,500 Ib. GVWR truck on low profile cab and chassis
with flatbed body and crane

B. Authorize the purchase of a 3/4 ton pickup truck in conjunction
with the joint purchase bidding process conducted by the
Northwest Municipal Conference
C. Accept proposal for Medical Insurance Program for 1998

CONTRACT AND BY-LAWS DOCUMENT OF THE INTER-
