I. 'CALL TO`ORDER - ROLL CALL
Meeting Date and Time:

II. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES OF MARCH 23, 1982.
III. PRESENTATION OF LIBRARY BUDGET
The Library Board and staff have been invited to attend
this Committee of the Whole meeting for presentation
of their fiscal 1983 Budget. They are requesting a
total budget of $1,011,500 as compared to a total budget
for this current fiscal year of $1,036,000. The current
year's budget does include a working Cash Levy in the
amount of $173,000. The proposed budget does not include
a Levy for working cash. Based upon the Village's
estimated of Equalized Assessed Value, $396,000,000, the
Library would be Levying 23(, for the Library Fund. This
Levy is exclusive of IMRF and the proposed Building
Reserve Fund.
Previously distributed were copies of the Library Budget
request and a Library Cash Flow Analysis.
IV. OTHER AGENCY RE VESTS
Attached are,the requests from the various civic groups
asking for inclusion in the municipal budget for a total
amount of $68,100. Based upon prior policy directions
of the Mayor and the Board, the staff has included funding
in our proposed Budget for the Chamber of Commerce,, the
Lion's Club, the Historical Society and the Veterans of
Foreign Wars. This amounts to $6,000. Therefore, the
remaining requests of $62,100 are not included in the
proposed Budget. Each of these groups has been invited
to attend our meeting.
V. VENTURE WATER COSTS
The Village Manager will make a verbal presentation at
the Committee of the Whole meeting regarding the costs
and impacts of anticipated Venture water costs. He will
compare the utilization of a Tax Levy for some of the
costs versus putting all the costs on the water bills.
As of the preparation of this Agenda, the Analysis being
prepared by John Nuveen and Company is not completed
and may not be available until next week.
VI. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT
1. Weller Creek Improvement.
2. Route 83 and Council Trail Traffic Signal.
3. Water Storage Tank Painting Contract.
VII. ANY OTHER BUSINESS
VIII.EXECUTIVE SESSION
The Village Manager requests the Committee of the Whole
consider a motion calling for an Executive Session to
discuss labor negotiations.
