OLD BUSINESS A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY, COMMONLY KNOWN AS 711 PROSPECT MANOR, IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance grants a variation from the 1.0 feet between principal and accessory buildings in order to build a room addition on a single family home. (Exhibit A) B. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO A SPECIAL USE ALLOWING EXPANSION OF AN ANIMAL HOSPITAL AT 2010 CAMP MC DONALD ROAD IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT AND GRANTING CERTAIN VARIATIONS This Ordinance grants an amendment to Ordinance No. 2875 in order for an addition to be constructed to the existing animal hospital as well as variations to permit parking in a portion of the rear yard and the elimination of a truck loading space. (Exhibit B) C. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY, COMMONLY KNOWN AS 1026 CHURCH ROAD, IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance grants a variation from the exterior side and rear yard requirements in order to install an in -ground swimming pool. (Exhibit C) D. PUBLIC HEARING A Public Hearing, called pursuant to proper legal notice published in the Mount Prospect Herald on June 5, 1984, is for the purpose of considering the issuance of Industrial Revenue Bonds in the amount of $2,000,000 for TOKO America. E. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE TO AUTHORIZE THE SALE OF REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance authorizes the sale of a portion of the lot owned by the Village within the Kensington Center for Business. (Exhibit D) F. Plat of Re -Subdivision, Kensington Center No. XV This Plat divides the Village owned lot into 2 lots in order to accomplish the sale of this lot. IX. X VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT A. Bid results: I. Shared Cost Sidewalk Replacement Program B. Offer to purchase Village owned property within the Kensington Center for Business - 2nd parcel. C. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A SAFETY DEPOSIT BOX AT THE MOUNT PROSPECT STATE BANK This Resolution authorizes the rental of a safety deposit box which will be used for storage of computer tapes. D. Status Report NEW BUSINESS A. Proposed Development - Bob Evans Restaurant This restaurant, proposed to be built just west Of Talman Savings & Loan, between Rand and Kensington Roads, Proposes to share Talman's driveway. Staff has recommended some modifications as part of the development plan review. Bob Evans does not agree With the recommended changes therefore the Village Board is requested to consider this matter in line With the appeal process. B. Safety Commission Report 1. Request from resident for STOP or YIELD sign at Evergreen & Pine Streets. The Safety COMMission recommends placement of a YIELD sign for north and southbound traffic for Pine Street traffic and not a STOP sign. 2. A resident has requested removal of the traffic signal on Central and Owen. The Safety Commission recommends denial of this request. 3. Request from resident to prohibit left turns from westbound Central onto southbound Wa Pella. It is the recommendation of the Safety Commission that a letter be sent to IDOT requesting such prohibition. C. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NOS. 3060, 3218 AND 3220 OF THE VILLAGE The Ordinances being repealed deal with Commercial Rehabilitation Loans. it is proposed that since I no activity has taken place on this type Of loan the funds be transferred to the facade program. D. I -St reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A CANOPY OF A BUILDING AT 2 FAST NORTHWEST HIGHWAY TO ENCROACH OVER A SIDEWALK This Ordinance authorizes an encroachment as well as a Hold Harmless Agreement for this property. E. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A CANOPY OF A BUILDING AT 15 WEST BUSSE AVENUE TO ENCROACH OVER SIDEWALK This Ordinance also authorizes an encroachment as well as providing for a Hold Harmless Agreement. F. ZBA 17-V-84, 1922 Burr Oak The petition in this case is requesting a varition in order to have a circular driveway for their single family home presently under construction. The Zoning Board of Appeals voted 5-0 to recommend granting this request. (Exhibit E) (Exhibit F) (Exhibit G) (Exhibit , I. ,1a m. M1711111 M ill T G. ZBA 18-V-84, 412 S. Pine Street This case deals with a variation from the side yard requirements in order to construct a new garage. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommends 5-0 to grant the requested variation. H. ZBA 19-V-84, Hinz Litho This case deals with a request for a variation from the side yard requirements in order to permit a loading dock. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommends 5-0 to grant the request. I. A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC ACCESS GRANT PROGRAM IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Resolution authorizes a grant program for Cable T.V. (Exhibit J) XI. ANY OTHER BUSINESS A. Ist reading of AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO A DETERMINATION OF THE PREVAILING WAGE RATES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance, required annually, adopts the prevailing wage ratesestablishedby the State for work performed for the Village by.contractors. (Exhibit K) E. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 ENTITLED "BUILDING CODE" OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance adopts the Building Code, as amended, in its entirety.
