Graduation of Fire Cadets As a part of their high school courses, these students have successfully completed two years of studies in fire science and firefighting techniques. 3. A RESOLUTION HONORING EDWARD SPACAPAN Mr. Spacapan is retiring having served High School District 214 for 34 years, and as Principal of Prospect High School since 1.973. (Exhibit A) C• 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 This Ordinance creates one additional Class "R" liquor license for a new restaurant, Shin Jung, at 1747 W. Golf Road; deletes one Class "A" liquor license issued to Bringer Inn West, 1802 S. Elmhurst Rd; and transfers Captain's Steak Joynt from a Class "L" to a Class "S", since effective may 1, 1984, the liquor license classification "L" has been eliminated. (Exhibit B) D. OLD BUSINESS M M A. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE XI ENTITLED "TAXICAB AND TAXICAB DRIVER'S LICENSES" OF CHAPTER 11 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance establishes the procedures and rates for taxicab service by senior citizens. Treatment Chemical (liquid chlorine) B. Status Report NEW BUSINESS A. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT AND TRKLA, PETTIGREW, ALLEN AND PAYNE This Agreement authorizes the preparation of a study on the Central. Business District for re -development with the possibility of implementing a tax increment financing district for such re -development. (Exhibit D) B. Ist reading of AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 18 ENTITLED "TRAFFIC" OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance sets forth specific regulations and fines in seeking compliance with various violations. (Exhibit E) C. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE TO ADD A NEW SECTION 18.1907 ENTITLED "IMPOUNDMENT OF VEHICLE" TO CHAPTER 18 OF THE VILLAGE CODE This Ordinance establishes the procedures involved with implementing the 'boot' for multi -offenders of parking regulations. (Exhibit F) D. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ARTICLE I ENTITLED "GENERAL OFFENSES" Of' CHAPTER 23 OF THE VILLAGE CODE This Ordinance consolidates and clarifies various miscellaneous regulations. (Exhibit G) E. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE TO ADD A NEW SECTION 23.602 ENTITLED "TRUANCY PROHIBITED" TO CHAPTER 23, ARTICLE VI OF THE VILLAGE CODE In line with the requests of school officials, this Ordinance sets forth the regulations relative to truancy. (Exhibit H) F. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH TELE -COLLECTIONS, INC. This Agreement authorizes the collection agency to take the necessary steps to collect overdue fines from multi -offenders of parking regulations. (T"_1,ihii- J) ANY OTHER B13SINESS A. A RESOLUTION REQUESTING TO CLOSE A STATE ROADWAY IN ORDER TO CONDUCT A PARADE This Resolution, as required by IDOT, requests the closure of roadways in order to conduct the annual July 4th parade.
