ZBA 7-Z-84, 801 Edgewood lst reading of AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS, WITH RESPECT TO THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT This ordinance grants R-1 zoning from R -X which will permit the owner to subdivide the parcel into two lots and construct a single family dwelling unit on the vacant lot. (Exhibit A) B. Altenburg's Plat of Re -Subdivision This Plat divides one lot, being the subject of the preceeding Ordinance, into two lots of record. C. ZBA 10 -SU -84, Old Orchard Colony Country This case has been continued to April 12, 1984, at which time the Various parties will present a compromise plan to the Zoning Board of Appeals. D. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14 ENTITLED "ZONING" OF THE VILLAGE CODE TO CREATE A NEW ZONING DISTRICT This Ordinance creates an Office/Research zoning District, as well as establishing the standards for such a District. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended 5-1 in favor of this text amendment. (Exhibit B) E. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC CODE) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This Ordinance creates 4 hour parking on the east side of Emerson, between Prospect Avenue and Milburn, as well as on the north side of Evergreen, between Main and Wille Streets. (Exhibit C) Ix. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT A. Bid Results: 1, Prospect Avenue Improvement - Between Emerson and Main Streets B. FAUS Project - Golf & Meier Roads, Engineer Selection C. Request to waive bidding procedure in order to make necessary repairs to Well #6 (on Kensington Road, east of Randhurst) D. Status Report X. NEW BUSINESS A. PUBLIC HEARING This Public Hearing, called pursuant to proper legal notice published March 23, 1984, for the purpose of discussing Revenue Sharing Funds. B. A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE FILING OF THE TENTATIVE ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT AND FOR PUBLIC INSPECTION This Resolution provides for a legal notice to be published stating the proposed 1984-85 budget is available for public review, and that a public hearing will be held April 17, 1984 at the Village Board to consider adoption of the 1984-85 annual budget. (Exhibit D) C. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECTS' PORTION OF CERTAIN COMPUTER AIDED DISPATCH COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE VILLAGE POLICE DEPARTMENT, THE VILLAGE FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND THE NORTHWEST CENTRAL DISPATCH SYSTEM, AND TO AUTHORIZE THE BORROWING OF TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS TO BE PAID OVER A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS, AND PROVIDING THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF A DIRECT ANNUAL TAX FOR THE PAYMENT OF PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST DUE ON SAID LOAN (Exhibit E) D. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance authorizes the sale of a police squad car recently destroyed in an accident. Since the Village is self-insured, the vehicle remains the property of the Village after settlement has been made. (Exhibit F) E. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SCHEDULE III OF ARTICLE XX OF CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC CODE) This Ordinance prohibits southbound traffic on Elmhurst Avenue, between Milburn and Lincoln Streets, during specified hours. (Exhibit G) F. A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE CANVASS OF AN ADVISORY REFERENDUM QUESTION This Resolution declares the official results of the referendum placed on the March 20, 1984 ballot., (Exhibit H) X1.
