IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance is required in order to properly record
the vacation of Waverly Street extended, at Lincoln Street,
which is an unimproved roadway. (Exhibit

IsL reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18
(TRAFFIC CODE) OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance deletes the Taxi -Cab stand provision
on the north side of Prospect Avenue between Main
and Emerson Streets, and places a two hour parking
restriction at the same location. (Exhibit
B)

lst reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14
ENTITLED "ZONING" OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
TO ELIMINATE THE REQUIREMENT FOR A COURT REPORTER TO
TRANSCRIBE ZONING PROCEDURES
As stated, this Ordinance eliminates the requirement
of a court reporter to take a transript of every
case before the Zoning Board of Appeals. (Exhibit
C)

COMMONLY KNOWN AS ELMHURST ROAD PLAZA IN THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance grants B-4 zoning, from B-3, in
order to permit a Planned Unit Development to
operate a car -care facility. (Exhibit D)
2. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND
AUTHORIZING A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE ELMHURST ROAD
PLAZA WITH A SPECIAL USE OF SUCH DEVELOPMENT
FOR AUTOMOTIVE RELATED USES ONLY AND WITH CERTAIN
VARIATIONS FROM THE REGULATION OF THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance grants a special use in the nature
of a Planned Unit Development to provide for 5
buildings on the lot of record, as well as
granting specified variations relating to
parking, reduced rear yard, and designated -
truck loading areas. (Exhibit E)

A. ZBA 3-V-84, 1590 S. Busse Road
This case deals with requests for variations to
allow reduced front and rear yards, to e.l.irl-inate a
designated truck loading area and to reduce the
number of required parking spaces from 32 to 28.
The Zoning Board of Appeals recommends granting
the variations for front and rear yards, but by
a vote of 3-3 recommends denial of the truck loading
space variation and reduced number of parking spaces.
B. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 OF
THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance provides for certain conduct within
establishments holding liquor licenses. (Exhibit J)
