COMMUNICATIONS & PETITIONS - CITIZENS TO BE HEARD
Jerry Falcon, Developer of Old Orchard Golf Course, addressed
the Board about obtaining an amendment to the Old Orchard
Country Club consent decree.
The Mayor stated compliance with the consent decree has been
met but only the Board can grant the amendment.
To allow the Board more time to study the question action was
deferred until the next regular Board meeting.
Randall Swenson, chairman, Master Planning Committee for the
Northwest Covenant Church, requested approval of a mobile
classroom to lie between the church residence and the church
garage for a period not more than 2 yearg.
Trustee Rhea, seconded by Trustee Wattenberg, moved to concur
with the Administration's recommendation and allow a mobile
classroom between the church residence and the church garage
for a period not more than 2 years .

MANAGER'S REPORT
The Village Manager requested approval of a resolution to use
MFT Funds for Hatlen Heights storm sewer project. Trustee Rhea,
seconded by Trustee Hendricks, moved for passage of Resolution
30--75:

MUNICIPAL INDEBTEDNESS BY USE OF MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS

MAYOR'S REPORT
The Mayor opened the floor to discussion regarding the possible
move of Village Board meetings to the new library.
After a thorough discussion, Trustee Minton, seconded by
Trustee Watteftberg, moved to have the Village Board relocate
in the new library for future Board meetings.

Trustee Flo-ros, seconded by Trustee Rhea,, moved for
concurrence with the Committee's report for approval of a
liquor license request by Midwest Liquors.
Bill Kruger, of the Liquor Shoppe, 1728 W. Dempster, voiced
opposition to the issuance of the license in light of the
close proximity of the two establishments (less than one
block apart).
The Mayor stated if such license was recreated he.,. as Liquor
Commissioner, would act favorably upon the Dover Inn
request for same license since that establishment had previously
explored the possibility and has been in operation longer than
Midwest Liquors.

ORDINANCE PROSPECT
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount
Prospect did conduct a Public Hearing under Case No. 46-Z-75,
on November 20, 1975, on a request for a zoning classification
change from B--3 (Business -- Retail. and Service) District to
8--4 (Business - Retail and Service) District of certain, property
hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid Public Hearing was made and
published in the manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of mount
Prospect did recommend to the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Mount Prospect that the zoning changes requested
in Case No. 46-Z--75 be granted; and
WHEREAS, the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect did meet on December 10, 1975, and
did review the aforesaid Case No. 46-Z-75; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have determined that the best interests of the
Village of Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of
the following Ordinance regarding the subject property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILTAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COCK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTIO ONE: That Map 32-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the
.i11ge of Mount Prospect, a5 amended, be and is hereby further
emended by reclassifying from 8--3 (Business -- Retail and Service)
District to B-4 (Business - Retail and Service) District the
following described property:
That part of lot 2 irk mEdward Busse's division of part
of the Southeast 114 of Section 15, and the North-
east 1./4 of Section 22, Township 41 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, as recorded
December 17, 1919, as Document No. 6696216, in Cook
County, .Illi.nois , lying (A) -South of a Eine 200,00
feet North of and parallel to the South lime of said
Section 15, said South line also being the center
line of Dempster Street, (B) -North of said South
line of said Section 15, and (C) -East of a line
beginning at a point in said South Eine of said
Section, 15, located 181.00 feet West of the East line
of said Lot 2 and running thence North along a line
drawn at right angles to said South line of said
Section 15 (excepting from said described part of
Lot 2, the North 40,00 feet thereof),
SECTION TWO: That Map 32-5 contained in SECTION ONE of
A
Ordinance No. 2410, passed and approved March 24, 1973,
shall be deemed amended so as to conform with the reclassifi-
cation of the subject property herein contained in SECTION
ONE above,
SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be null and void and
of no force and effect whatsoever until after its passage,
approval, publicAtion, and such time as an accurate plat
resubdividing the subject parcels described in SECTION ONE
above is recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County,
Illinois, a copy of which plat of subdivision shall be
attached hereto and made a part hereof.
