SUBJECT: Finance Committee Meeting 10-15-7/3
CMATE: October 22, 1973
Present: Chairman Scholten; Trustees P. Link, E. F.
Richardson; Attorney John Zimmermann
Mt. Shire Re nest for LiS[,uor License:
Mr. Bernie Lee, representing petitioner, again gave
background on this matter. This subject has come up
in two previous Board meetings a few months ago, and
I feel you each have it fresh in your minds and I
therefore will not go into any detail regarding the
discussion.
The petitioner requested a license for the sale of
alcoholic beverages at the club which was authorized
under a special use.
It is the Committee's recommendation, by a vote of
3-0, to deny the request since this is a residential
development and a precedent would be set if a license
were granted, and the Committee felt that the petitioner
could continue to operate as a "bottle club" as they
have in the past.
