ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY LOCATED AT
THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF
ALGONQVIN AND ELMHURST ROADS
WHEREAS, a written petition under oath signed by the owners of record of land
hereinafter described has been filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of
Mount Prospect requesting that said land be annexed to the Village of Mount
Prospect; and
WHEREAS, all electors residing within the said property to be annexed have
affixed their signatures indicating their consent; and
WHEREAS, the said land is not within the corporate limits of any municipality,
but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
find and believe it to be in the best interests of the said Village that said land
and territory be annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That all land and territory legally described as follows:
That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of
Section 23, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third
Principal Meridian, described as follows: The East 20 acres of
the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 23
(excepting that part of Algonquin Road described as follows: Com-
mencing at the Northeast corner of said Northeast Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter of said Section 23, said Northeast corner is also
the East Quarter corner of said Section 23; thence West along North
line of Northeast Quarter of said Southeast ast Quarter a distance of
300 feet to the point of beginning; thence West along said North line
of said Northeast Quarter of Southeast Quarter, 351.58 feet; thence
South and parallel with the East line of said Northeast Quarter of
Southeast Quarter along the West line of the said East 20 acres, a
distance of 66.63 feet to a point in the South line ,of Algonquin Road;
thence East along said South line of Algonquin Road, 351.58 feet;
thence North 64.89 feet to the point of beginning).

That part of the East 300 feet of the Southeast Quarter of the North-
east Quarter of Section 23, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of
the Third Principal Meridian lying South of the North line of Algon-
quin Road, all in Cook County, Illinois
an accurate map of which territory is attached hereto and hereby made a part
hereof by this reference be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of
Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: That Map 47-S contained in SECTION ONE of Ordinance No. 2410,
passed and approved March 20, 1973, be amended to reflect the extention of the
corporate limits of the Village of Mount Prospect to include the property herein-
above described and hereby annexed.
SECTION THREE: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect is hereby
directed to file in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, a
certified copy of this Ordinance, together with an accurate map of the territory
annexed.
SECTION FOUR: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 47-S OF THE
MOUNT PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did con-
duct a Public Hearing under Case No. 20-Z-73, on August 8, 1973, pursuant to
a request for a zoning classification change from R -X (Single Family Residential
District) to B-1 (Business - Shopping Center District) , and from R -X (Single
Family Residential District) to B-3 (Business - Retail and Service District) for
certain property hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, notice of the aforesaid Public Hearing was made and published in
the manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect have
recommended to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect that the petitioner's request in Case No. 20-Z-73 be granted; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount, Prospect'
have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be
attained by the adoption of the following Ordinance regarding the subject pro"T-
perty;
NOW, THREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECTI COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Map 47-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount
Prospect, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by reclassi-
fying that real estate shown and described upon Exhibit A attached hereto and
hereby made a part hereof to the B-1 (Business - Shopping Center District), and
to B-3 (Business - Retail and Service District) as indicated upon the said Exhibit A
attached hereto.
SECTION TWO: That Map 47-5 SF in contained

passed and approved March 20, 1973, shall be deemed amended so as to conform
with the reclassification of the subject property as indicated upon said E�chibit A.
SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING 2.83 ACRES SOUTH OF ALGONQUIN ROAD
208.70 TO 408.70 FEET EAST OF THE EAST LINE OF NORDIC ROAD

WHEREAS, the land hereinafter described is both contiguous to the Village
of Mount Prospect and wholly bounded on all side's by the Village of Mount
Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the said territory is not presently within the boundaries of any
mun
i i icipality; and
WHEREAS, the said property comprises less than sixty (60) acres, and
WHEREAS, the Illinois Revised Statutes, Chapter 24, Section 7-1-13 provides
for the annexation of such territory by the Village upon passage of an Ordi-
nance pursuant thereto; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect,
Cook County, Illinois, find and believe it to be in the best interests of the
Village of Mount Prospect that the said land and territory be annexed thereto-,
NOWo THEREFORE9 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECTCOOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That all land and territory legally described as follows,
to -wit:
The North 683.46 feet of the East 200 feet (as measured
alonAn the South and North line thereof) lying West of the
East 20 acres of the. Northeast Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 23, Township 41 North, Range 11
Ea-st of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County,
Illinois. (Excepting that part thereof, lying North of
the South line of Algonquin Road).
which territory is not presently within the boundaries of any municipality but
is in the unincorporated territory of Cook County, is contiguous to the Village
of Mount Prospect, i's wholly surrounded by the Village of Mount Prospect and
comprises 2.83 acres and is, therefore, less than sixty (60) acres in size; be
and is hereby annexed to the Villae of Mount Prospect so that hereafter said

territory shall be included within the boundary lines and limits of the Village
of Mount Prospect - as is by law in such case made and provided.
SECTION TWO: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect is here-
by directed to record a certified copy of this Ordinance, together with an ac-
curate plat of said territory with the Recorder of Deeds of Cool� County, Illinois.
SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and piter its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.

RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION REPEALING, RESOLUTION NO. 24-68
WHEREAS, It is the duty of the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect to
make and publish certain legal notices pursuant to the ordinances of the Village of
Mount Prospect and the statutes of the State of Illinois made and provided-, and
WHEREAS, these said notices must be publishecl notwithstanding labor disputes,
strikes, paper shortages, etc.; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect deem
it necessary for the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect to use his dis-
cretion as to which of the various newspapers having general circulation within
the corporate limits of the Village of Mount Prospect shall print said legal notices;

EREORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Resolution No, 24-68 be and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION TWO: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
