We) 61% a 1112 NO I D [" W.11 0 1 J1 WS 10 M V WHEREAS, a written petition It oath signed by the owners of record of land hereinafter described has been filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect requesting that said land be annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, all electors residing within the said property to be Rnnexed have affixed their signatures indicating their consent; an -i WHEREAS, the said land is not within the,corporate limits of any I - and municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospectv WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect find and believe it to be in the best interests of the said Village that said land and territory be annexed thereto; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF'MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTYO ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE,* That all land and territory legally described as f o T1737 The South 1/2 of Lot 3 and Lot 4 (except the South 11 feet thereof) together with the 33.0 feet lying East of and adjoining said South 1/2 of Lot 3 and Lot 4 (except the South 11 feet thereof) all in Willson and Florence's Country Club Subdivision of the East 233.0 feet (as measured on the North line) of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 11, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois; an accurate map of which territory is attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference be and the same is hereby annexed to the Vil- lage of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois. SECTION TWO.- That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Pros- pect is herebyi Trected to file in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, a certified copy of this Ordinance, together with an accurate map of the territory annexed. SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from, and alter its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law. NAYS : PASSED and APPROVED this day of 1973. ATTEST: ViiageClerk Village President ORDINANCE A'O* AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING RIVER TRAILS"PARK DISTRICT AND SCHOOL DISTRICT 26 PROPERTIES AT EUCLID AND WOLF ROADS TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the River Trails School District No. 26, Cook County, Illinois, have, in accordance with Section 7-1-14 of Chapter 24 of the Illinois Revised Statutes, adopted a Resolution re- commending the annexation of one (1) parcel of real estate hereinafter legally described to the Village of Mount Prospect, which Resolution did contain all the necessary requirements so as to comply with the statutes made and provided; and WHEREAS, the Board of Park Commissioners of River Trails Park District, Cook County, Illinois, have adopted a similar Resolution foranaddi- tional parcel of real estate hereinafter legally described; and WHEREAS, copies of said Resolutions were duly delivered to the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, all of the real estate hereinafter described is contiguous to the corporate limits of the Village of Mount Prospect and not within the corporate boundaries of any municipality; and WHEREAS, no electors reside upon the subject real estate, nor any part or portion thereof; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, do believe it to be in the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect that the property hereinafter described be, in fact, annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinoisof NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY) ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That the land and territory hereinafter described being Z"oT77guous to the Village of Mount Prospect, but without, the corporate limilts, of any municipality, and having no one residing therein, and the Village of Mount Prospect having been duly, petitlioned, by Resolution adopted by the Board of Education of School District No. 26, Cook County, Illinois, and by Resolution adopted by the Board of Park Commissioners of River Trails Park District, Cook County, Illinois, which School Dis- trict and Park District are the beneficial owners of the said land and territory -- be and the same is hereby annexed to and made part of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, which land and terri- tory is legally described as follows: The Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (except the South 467.0 feet of the East 467.0 feet thereof and except that part of the South- east Quarter of the Northeast Quarter which lies Easterly of the center line of Wolf Road, as now located), all in Section 26, Township 42 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in n Cook County, Illinois, and also, the East Half of Wolf Road lying adjacent thereto. SECTION TWO: That the boundary lines of the Village of Mount Prospect be I hereby enlarged and extended so as to include within its corporate boundaries the above described real estate.
