There was a request by the Red Cross to speak to the Board
regarding the blood donor program, so the blood donor pro-
gram agreements submitted by the North Suburban Association
for Health Resources were deferred.
Trustee Furst, seconded by Triistee Anderson, moved to author -
i ze the Vi 11 age Board to enter i nto a Consent Decree to termi n -
ate the litigation known as the Century Tile case.

Mayor Tei chert reported that Dr. Michael Ruane had resigned as a
member of the Board of Health and he recommended the appointment
of Dr. Fred Neal, 1211 Rnbin Lane to fill the unexpired term -

to May 1, 1976, and requested Board concurrence. Trustee Furst,
seconded by Trustee Ahern, moved to concur in the Mayor's ap-
pointment of Dr. Fred Neal for a term to expire May 1, 1976.

Case 72-36A - petition of Daniel, O'Brien, 1604 Dogwood La.,
The Board of Appeals recommended approval of the request for
a 16' rear yard setback. Trustee Ahern, seconded by Trustee
Furst, moved '.,-,o concur in the recommendation of the Board of
Appeals 'to permit a setback of 16' as petitioned in Case
#'472 - 36 A.

JUDICIARY COMMITTEE
An ordinance amending Map 50-N of the Mount Prospect Zoning
ordinance was presented for final passage. This case, de-
ferred from the meeting of September 19, 1972, was a
request to rezone from R-1 to R-4 property on the west side
of River Road north of Camp McDonald Road - Case 72-10P.
Mr. David Freedman of Freedman Engineers appeared for the
petitioners to discuss the sanitary sewer system. Dr. Mehta,
a resident of Tano Lane, appeared as an objector. Mr. Ben
Herman of Yuma Lane submitted a petition signed by 352 home-
owners and residents opposing the rezoning. Frederick
Scher horn, a resident of Park Drive also voiced his objection.
Trustee Link stated he would abstain from voting because of
a conflict of interest. He represented those objectors in
litigation. Trustee Anderson , s.econded by Trustee Richardson,

A report was submi tted from the PI an Commission on Case
72-20P - petitioner Kenroy, Inc. Huntington northwest corner
Dempster and Elmhurst from R-4 to B-4 PUD, known as the May
Department Store complex. The case was referred to the
Judiciary Committee.
OTHER BUSINESS
The public hearing on a pre -annexation agreement for property
south of Algonquin and east of Nordic Road was continued to
the next regular meeting.

AN ORDINANCE MAKING CERTAIN AMENDMENTS TO THE REGULATIONS
GOVERNING ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR DEALERS

Control Commissioner, and establishing compensation and
duties for the Liquor Control Commissioner. )

COMMITTEE ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Building Committee will 'meet November "29th to consider
a swimming pool ordinance and an amendment to Sec. 19.205
re location and screening of garbage containers and recept-
acles.
Trustee Anderson announced that Case 72-21A - Kapl an &
Braun variations for 6" concrete curb has been rescheduled
to January.

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING DISTRICT 26 SCHOOL PROPERTY
TO THE VILLAGE -OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the River Trails School District
No,, 26s Cook County, Illinois, have, in accordance with Section 7-1-14
,of Chapter 24 of the Illinois Revised, Statues, adopted a, Resolution re-
cominend'ing the annexation of one (1) parcel of �real estate he
legally described to the Village of Mount, Prospect, which, Resolutiwi
did contain contain all the necessary requirements so as to comply with
the statutes made and provided; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Park Commissioners of River Trails Park District,
Cook County, Illinois, have adopted a similar Resolution for an addi-
tional parcel of real estate hereinafter legally described; and
WHEREAS, copies of said Resolutions were duly delivered to the Village
Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the real estate hereinafter described is contiguous to the
corporate limits of the Village of Mount Prospect and not within the
corporate boundaries of any municipality; and
WHEREAS, no electors reside upon the subject real estate s nor any
part or portion thereof; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, do believe it to be in the best interests
of the Village of Mount Prospect that, the property hereinafter described
be in 'fact annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY) ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the land and 'territory hereinafter described, being
contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospects but without the corporate
limits of any municipality,and having no one residing therein; and the
Village of Mount Prospect having been duly petitioned by Resolution
adopted by the Board of Education of School District No. 26, Cook County,
Illinois, and by Resolution adopted by the Board of Park Commissioners
of River Trails Park District, Cook County, Illinois, which School Dis-
trict and Park District are the beneficial owners of the said land and
territory; be and the same 'i's hereby annexed to and made part of the
Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, which land and terri

tory is legally described as follows:
The Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter
(except the South 467.0 feet of the East 467.0
feet thereof and except that part of the South-
east Quarter of the rtheast Quarter which lies
Easterly of the center line of golf Road, as now
located), all in Section 261 Township 42 North,
Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian,
in Cook County, Illinois, and also,, the East Half
'Wolf Road lying adjacent thereto.
SECTION TWO: That the boundary lines of the Village of Mount Prospect
