priorities for awarding Grants to utilize the access
channels available to the Village of Mount Prospect.

and Recommendations. These are attached to the Agenda.
Cable Commission members have been invited to the
meeting to review these in detail with the Committee

The Tillage's existing three year contract with Browning-
Ferris Industries expires at the end of July of this
year. The -existing contract provides for an extension
of that contract at prices agreeable to both. parties.
Browniln.g-Ferris Industries has submitted contract
extension proposals for one year and for three years.
Browning-Ferris Industries has provided the community
with good service and we have had few complaints over
the years. The proposal amounts to a fixed price for
the next three years at approximately 14% above our
current rate. Their one year proposal offers a fixed
price at approximately 9.3%. The Browning-Ferris
Industriesproposal is attached as well as the staff
report. Director of Health Services Patrick Luehring
will be available at the meeting. JLV
