CALL TO ORDER - ROLL CALL II. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES OF JULY 121 1983 III. CITIZENS To BE HEARD IV. DUI REPORTS Sometime -ago, the Village. Board requested the regular monthly reports be developed indicating the status of pending DUI cases within the community. Enclosed is a report developed by the Police Department which has been produced on a monthly basis. Representatives of the Police Department will be available to review this' format with the Committee of the Whole and we encourage comments and questions on the content and format of this report. V. PROSPECT :AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS The 1983-1984 Community Development Block Grant Program includes funding for improvements of the sidewalks, curbs and median strips from. Main street east just past Emerson Street. The Department of Community Development will be available to present exhibits describing the proposed improvements . Ken Fritz and Mayor Krause have met with Prospect Avenue merchants who expressed cooperation in funding their owner's share of this Program. Cost estimates will also be made available. Mr. Fritz will also be available to answer questions regarding the proposed extension of the North Western Railroad plat- form., the possibility of relocating the taxi waiting area and other improvement plans in this general vicinity. VI. HEALTH DEPARTMENT REPORT Patrick Luehring, Director of Health Services, will be present to review with the Committee of the Whole various programs being offered through his Department in coopera- tion with other agencies. In particular, Mr. Luehring will inform the Committee of the Whole of the programs offered through Holy Family Hospital to our senior citizens, and provide a progress report on the Senior Day Care Center being developed at Busse School by Parkside. Mr. Luehring and Fran Ei.senman will be available to answer questions the Committee of the Whole might have regarding other programs in the Health Department as well. VII. MANAGER'S REPORT 1., Parental Responsibility Ordinances. 2. Fire Station Improvements. 3., Jobs Bill Approval Status. VIII . ANS' OTHER. BUSINESS IX.
