A. Safety Commission Report
The Safety Commission met November 5th and considered
a request from the PTA of Fairview School for one-way
traffic during school hours. The Safety Commission
recommends 5-0 to restrict traffic movement on
Gregory Strut, between Oak Avenue and Fairview Street,
to one-way eastbound on school days between the hours
of 8:30 A.M. - 9:00 A.M. and between 3:30 P.M. and
4:00 P.M. and to delete the existing one-way restriction
during school hours on Fairview Street.
B. ZBA 46 -V -84r 17 S. Wa Pella
2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR
CERTAIN PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 17 S. WA PELLA
This Ordinance grants a side yard variation to permit
2 feet instead of the required 5 feet, in order to
construct a two car garage. (Exhibit A)
C. ZBA 47-V-84, 101 Sunset Road
The petitioner in this case has asked that his case
be continued to the December 18th Board meeting.
IX. NEW BUSINESS
A. ZBA 45 -V -84r 1762 Corktree Lane
This case deals with -a request for variation to permit
a large patio in the required side yard. Installation
of this patio was done without benefit of a permit.
The Zoning Board of Appeals voted 3-1 to recommend
granting this variation.
B. ZBA 50-V-84, 1608-10 Algonquin Road
This request is for a variation to permit a fence with
posts 27 inches high supporting a single link chain,
which will be located in the required front yard of
this apartment complex. The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommends 4-0 to grant the request.

C. ZBA 51 -SU and 52-V-84, 698 East Northwest Highway,
This case deals with a request for a special use in
order to operate a minor automobile repair facility,
in the nature of a 10 minute oil change operation, in
a B-3 district- a variation to permit a trash enclosure
in the required rear yard.- and to eliminate the require('
truck loading dock. The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommends 4-0 to grant the requests.
