BUSSE ROAD (ARC DISPOSAL) TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance annexes the subject property to the Village. (Exhibit B) 2. Plat of Annexation -3. 2nd reading of,AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN SPECIAL USE PRbvi-sioNs WITH RESPECT TO THE I-1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT OF CHAPTER 14 ENTITLED "ZONING" OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance amends Chapter 14 to add transfer stations for refuse disposal as a special use in an I-1 District. (Exhibit C) 4. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT WITH RESPECT TO ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ARC DISPOSAL COMPANY PROPERTY IN THE I-1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT This Ordinance re -zones the subject property from R -X (zoning classification automatically acquired as a result of annexation) to I-1 zoning. (Exhibit D) 5. Plat of Subdivision 6. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING A SPECIAL USE TO ALLOW A TRANSFER STATION FOR REFUSE DISPOSAL ON PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ARC DISPOSAL COMPANY PROPERTY IN THE VILLAGE This Ordinance grants the special use necessary in order to operate an existing transfer station for refuse in an I-1 District. (Exhibit E) 7. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING VARIATIONS FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ARC DISPOSAL COMPANY PROPERTY IN THE VILLAGE This Ordinance grants variations from the side yard setback requirements; permits a lot size less than 4 acres, allows more than 80% coverage on the lot; permits a building height in excess of the 15 feet allowed; and reduces the number of parking spaces from 158 to 56. WILLIAM STREET IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance grants a variation to permit a fence in the front yard and recognizes an existing 5 foot side yard instead of 10 ft. ZBA recommended approval 6-0. (Exhibit G) C. ZBA 46-V-84, 17 South Wa Pella lst reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 17 S. WA PELLA IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance grants a variation for a 2 foot side yard instead of the required 5 feet in order to construct a garage. ZBA recommended 6-0 to grant the request. (Exhibit H) D. See Gwun and Sunset Traffic Study Pursuant to a request from a resident for a 4 -way STOP at See Gwun and Sunset, a traffic count was conducted. Based on that count, the Safety Commission recommends denial of the request. IX. NEW BUSINESS A. PUBLIC HEARING This Public Hearing is called, pursuant to proper legal notice, to consider the request from OPUS to annex approximately 36 acres into the Kensington Center for Business development in the Village of Mount Prospect. 1. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO TIV-.1 VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT LAND LYING IN SECTION 351 TOWNSHIP 42 NORTH, RANGE 11, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS (OPUS) This Ordinance annexes the subject property to the Village of Mount Prospect. (Exh 2. Plat of Annexation 3. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE ZONING THE PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS KENSINGTON CENTER, PHASE FIVE This Ordinance re -zones the subject property from R -X to I-1. (Exhibit K) 4. Kensington Center, Phase Five, Plat of Subdivision 5. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING SPECIFIED VARIATIONS FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS KENSINGTON CENTER, PHASE FIVE This Ordinance grants the various variations necessary to develop the property, pursuant to the Annexation Agreement of 1980. (Exhibit L) 6. Ist reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING SPECIFIED VARIATIONS FROM THE DEVELOPMENT"CODE FOR THE KENSINGTON CENTER (OPUS) PHASE FIVE PROPERTY Also in accordance with the Annexation Agreement, this Ordj"-nce grants the necessary riations in order levelop this property. (Exhibit M) B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE XX OF CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC CODE) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This Ordinance places 2 hour parking restrictions on the north and south sides of Hatlen between Central Road and Grindel Drive, one block south of Central. A RESOLUTION APPROVING TRANSFER OF CABLENET SYSTEM TO A PARTNERSHIP OF CABLENET, INC. AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS, INC. This Resolution expresses the approval of the Village of Mount Prospect to a partnership of the cable T.V. provider to the Village, subject to the appropriate documents being submitted to the Village.
