Ist reading of AN -ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20.206
ENTITLED "IMPOUNDMENT PROCEDURES" OF ARTICLE II,
CHAPTER 20 OF THE VILLAGE CODE
Pursuant to the direction of the Village Board,
this Ordinance will increase the number of days
for a stray animal to be kept by the animal
hospital from 4 to 7 days.

2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 24.104
ENTITLED "PENALTIES" OF ARTICLE I,, CHAPTER 24,
OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance will provide for supervision as
an alternate penalty for various -Code violations.

The Safety Commission met November 2. 1981, and
submit recommendations on the following subjects:
1. Designate Isabella as a collector street
between Main Street and Rand Road
2. 2 -Way STOP sign on Maple at Isabella
3. Prohibit parking on north side of
Isabella between Main Street and Rand Road
4. Prohibit parking ,on north and south sides
of Isabella between Rand Road and Owen St.
5. 5 ton load limit on'' "Isabella between
Rand Road and Main Street
6. Request for traffic signal at Briarwood
Drive and Algonquin Road
7. Request for traffic signal at Elmhurst Road
and Huntington Commons Road
8. Request for traffic signal at Lincoln and
Busse Road
9. 3 -Way STOP sign at Burr Oak and Lama Lane
10. Amend Traffic Code to include handicapped
parking regulations.
11. 2 Hour parking restriction on west side of
William Street between Prospect Ave. and
Lincoln St.
12. One -Way traffic on Highland just west
of Rand Road
13. Gregory Street Closure at Rand Road
14. Prohibit parking on parkways

Request to allow circular driveway within
required front yard. Zoning Board of Appeals
recommends approval of request.
C. ZBA 26-Z-81, 102 E. Rand Road
Request to rezoning from B-3 to B-4 to bring
existing service station into conformance with
Code. Zoning Board of Appeals recommends denial
of request.
D. ZBA 33-V-8131 Briarwood Shopping Center
Request for variation to parking regulations.
Zoning Board recommends approval of request.
E. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ARTICLE I
OF CHAPTER 13 ENTITLED "ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR DEALERS"
OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance deals with various amendments to
the Code relative to pro -rating liquor license
fees, changing classification for Class "C"
licenses, setting forth regulations' for liquor
sampling in licensed establishments.
F. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE IMPLEMENTING AUTOMOBILE
RENTING USE TAX ACT
Recently adopted State Legislation provides for
local municipalities to collect a tax for the use
of rented automobiles, this Ordinance will serve
as notice to the State of Illinois that
Mount Prospect does intend to exercise its option
to collect such a tax.
G. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE IMPLEMENTING MUNICIPAL
AUTOMOBILE RENTING OCCUPATION TAX ACT
This Ordinance is presented in conjunction with the
preceeding Ordinance.
H. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2
ENTITLED "BOARD OF TRUSTEES" OF THE VILLAGE CODE
With the new for -mat of the Committee of the Whole,
it is necessary to amend the Code and delete
reference to the various Committees.

Consider effects of the delay in having this
project approved and the subsequent increase in
cost.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE FOREST RIVER FIRE PROTECTION
DISTRICT
This Resolution is presented each year and sets
forth the terms and conditions for the Village
to provide emergency Fire Department services to
that area.
