REGULAR MEETING OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT VILLAGE BOARD — 7:00 PM Tuesday,
December 15, 2020
In accordance with Governor Pritzker's Resurgence Mitigation Plan effective Wednesday, October 28, 2020, the
Village of Mount Prospect will conduct public meetings virtually through the end of the year. The Mayor and Board
of Trustees, along with Village staff, will conduct the meeting of December 15, 2020 remotely. One member of the
Village Board or executive staff will be present at Village Hall in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.
We invite you to join us via livestream or view the meeting on Comcast or WOW channel 17. If you have a question
on an agenda item or comment during the Citizens to be Heard portion of the meeting, please complete and
submit a public comment form at least one hour prior to the start of the meeting.

1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Juracek called the December 15, 2020 regular meeting of the Mount Prospect Village Board to
order at 7:06 p.m. via remote video conference. Village Manager Michael Cassady was physically
present at Village Hall, 50 S. Emerson Street, Mount Prospect, Illinois.
2. ROLL CALL
Members present upon roll call by the Village Clerk: Arlene Juracek, Colleen Saccotelli, Eleni Hatzis,
Michael Zadel, Paul Hoefert, Richard Rogers, and William Grossi
Absent: None
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
3.1 November 10, 2020 - Special Meeting of the Village Board
November 10, 2020 - Committee of the Whole
December 1, 2020 - Regular Meeting of the Village Board
Motion to approve the minutes as presented.
Motion by William A Grossi, second by Colleen E Saccotelli.

Nay: None
Final Resolution: Motion Passed
4. MAYORS REPORT
4.1 CHAIR APPOINTMENT TO BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS:
Economic Development Commission Chair appointment James Drew
Mayor Juracek presented for Board approval, James Drew as Chair of the Economic
Development Commission to replace current Chair Skip Robertson who is retiring.
Motion by Richard Rogers, second by William Grossi to ratify the appointment of James Drew as Chair
of the Economic Development Commission
Yea: Colleen Saccotelli, Eleni Hatzis, Michael Zadel, Paul Hoefert, Richard Rogers, William Grossi
Nay: None
Final Resolution: Motion Passed
5. COMMUNICATIONS AND PETITIONS - CITIZENS TO BE HEARD
Mayor Juracek reviewed the Village policy and procedure regarding citizen participation and the
public comment process. Village Clerk Karen Agoranos read verbatim into record a public comment
submitted by resident Jeanne Marie DiCristofano.

Ms. Agoranos confirmed no additional public comments were received.
6. CONSENT AGENDA
Motion to approve the consent agenda as presented.
Motion by Paul Hoefert, second by Michael Zadel.

Commander of the Mount Prospect American Legion Post Bill Starr and Les Durov, Mount Prospect
VFW Post 1337, addressed the Board virtually to express their gratitude to Mayor Juracek and the
Board for the Village's cooperation in the recent Veteran's Day ceremony, the first to be held virtually.
Mr. Starr and Mr. Durov also thanked Director of Communications Howard Kleinstein and Video
Communications Specialist Steve Martini for their technical expertise that helped make the virtual
ceremony a success. Mr. Durov also thanked the Mt. Prospect Park District for their contributions in
the planning and execution of the production.
11. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to discuss, Mayor Juracek asked for a motion to adjourn. Trustee
Rogers, seconded by Trustee Grossi motioned to adjourn the meeting. Upon roll call each member
acknowledged they were able to hear and participate in the meeting in its entirety:
Aye: William Grossi, Eleni Hatzis, Paul Hoefert, Richard Rogers, Colleen Saccotelli and Michael
Zadel.
Nay: None.
Arlene Juracek acknowledged she was able to hear and participate in the meeting in its entirely
as well.
The December 15, 2020 Regular Meeting of the Mount Prospect Village Board adjourned at 7:25p.m.
