CAF/ 1/10~95 ORDINANCE NO. 4706 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY (LINNEMAN ROAD IMPROVEMENT) WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have determined that it is in the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect to acquire certain properties within the corporate limits of the Village for municipal purposes; and WHEREAS, the owners of the private property being the subject of this Ordinance and the Village of Mount Prospect have reached agreement with regard to just compensation for the acquiring the subject properties for right-of-way improvements by the Village. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS SECTION ONE: That, pursuant to the Complaint for Condemnation, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, do hereby authorize the purchase of the property legally described as follows: The East 12.00 feet of the following described tract of land: that part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian described as follows: Beginning at a point in the West line of Linneman Road 520.14 feet North of South line of said Northeast Quarter, thence running West parallel with the south line of said Northeast Quarter 172.23 feet, to the East line of Lots 5, 6 and 7 in Kaplan-Braun's Fourth Addition to Mount Prospect Unit No. 1, being a subdivision of Part of the North 1/2 of Section 14,Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian; thence North parallel with the West line of said road and along the East line of Lots 5, 6 and 7 126.46 feet to a comer of said Lot 5, thence East parallel with the South line of said Northeast Quarter 172.23 feet, thence South 126.46 feet to the point of beginning, all being in Cook County, Illinois Adjacent to 1020 Linneman Road SECTION TWO: That, pursuant to the Complaint for Condemnation, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, do hereby authorize the purchase of the property legally described as following: The East 33.0 feet of the North 100 feet of the South 316 feet of the South 15 acres of the North 30 acres of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, Cook County, Illinois Adjacent to 1206 Linneman Road SECTION THREE: That, pursuant to the Complaint for Condemnation, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, do hereby authorize the purchase of the property legally described as follows: The East 33.0 feet of the South 116 feet of the North 30 acres of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, Cook County, Illinois Adjacent to 1210 Linneman Road SECTION FOUR: That, pursuant to the Complaint for Condemnation, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, do hereby authorize the purchase of cquisition Page 2 of 2 the property legally described as follows: The West 20.0 feet of the South 130 feet of the West 196 feet of the North 10 acres of the South 20 acres of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, Cook County, Illinois Adjacent to 1211 Linneman Road SECTION FIVE: That, pursuant to the Complaint for Condemnation, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, do hereby authorize the purchase of the property legally described as follows: The West 20.0 feet of the West 196 feet of the North 120 feet of the South 10 acres of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, Cook County, Illinois Adjacent to 1213 Linneman Road SECTION SIX: A copy of the Offer to Buy Real Estate contracts for the properties being the subject of this Ordinance are attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof. SECTION SEVEN: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
