APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING, August 18, 1981 V APPROVAL OF BILLS Vi. COMMUNICATIONS AND PETITIONS - CITIZENS TO BEHEARD VII MAYORS REPORT A. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT MUNICIPAL CODE This Ordinance will increase the number of Class 111111 liquor licenses by one for Sunrise Pancake House, 903 E. Rand Road (Exhibit A) B. Appointments C. Announcements VIII. OLD BUSINESS A. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT As in the past, the Village would like to dispose of miscellaneous property no longer needed or outdated, at the Annual Municipal Sale conducted by the Northwest Municipal Conference. This ordinance would authorize the sale of the specified items. (Exhibit B) B. -PUBLIC HEARING As required by State Statute, and pursuant to proper legal notice, this public hearing is held to review the levy passed by the Village Board. C. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE TO RE AFFIRM ANIS ADHERE TO THE TAXES LEVIED PURSUANT TO AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE- LEVY AND COLLECTION OF TAXES FOR CORPORATE AND MUNICIPAL PURPOSE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT FOR 'THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING MAY 1., 1981 AND ENDING APRIL 3Q, 1982 This Ordinance will re -affirm the Village levy, as required by law. (Exhibit C) D. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE MAENDING CHAPTER 21 fgi, ENTITLED" BUILDING CODE" OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance provides for a revised fee schedule and specific updates to the Building Code (Exhibit D) X. MANAGER'S REPORT A. Lease for Court Room This is a request for approval of a five year lease with Cook County, for the court room facilities, 2nd floor, Public Safety Building, 112 E. Northwest Highway B. Bids: 1. Snow Plow 2. Pick -Up Truck 3. Fiberglass Utility Truck Body 4. Caulking - Village Hall windows 5. Transport Trailer 6. Busse/Wille Improvement Xi. ANY OTHER BUSINESS A. Accept public 'improvements: 1. Charlie Club, South Elmhurst Road 2. Algonquin Lane Apartments XII. ADJOURNMENT NOTE: Due the the Labor Day weekend falling on the first Saturday of the month, Village Hall will be open on Saturday, September 12th, fo., 'fee with Elected Officials and limited services. E. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 ENTITLED "BUILDING CODE" OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance amends Section 21.613.F. of the Building Code to increase the fees for plan review. (Exhibit E) F. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 21.609 "SEWER PERMIT FEES" OF CHAPTER 21 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECTO ILLINOIS This Ordinance will amend sub -paragraph F of Section 21.609,, pertaining to televising sewers and the fees for such service. (Exhibit F) G. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 22 ENTITLED "WATER, SEWER, AND FLOOD PLAIN REGULATIONS" OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance amends the fees in Sections 22.401, 22.503 and 22.506.1. (Exhibit G) H. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 16 ENTITLED "DEVELOPMENT" OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance amends Section 16.319 and sub -paragraph K of Section 16.411 by increasing the specified fees. (Exhibit H) J. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT SPECIAL SERVICE AREA NUMBER 3 This Ordinance is the final step in establishing a special service area for the Busse/Wille 'improvement, as well for the issuance of bonds as providing in connection therewith. Special Service Area Number 3 is the property commonly known as the Aldi Property, (Exhibit J) K. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT SPECIAL SERVICE AREA NUMBER 4 This Ordinance, in conjunction with Special Service Area Number 3, is the final step towards the improvement of the-Busse/Wille area, including setting forth the procedure for the issuance of bonds for that project. Area Number 4 incorporates the balance of the specified area. IX. NEW BUSINESS A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance would authorize the sale of the specified equipment at the semi-annual auction conducted by the Northwest Municipal Conference in Octeiber. (Exhibit L) B. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH CUMMINS -ALLISON CORP. This Resolution will authorize the initial step to authorize issuance of industrial revenue bonds for Cummins -Allison Corp. (Exhibit M) X. MANAGER'S REPORT A.
