ORDINANCE NO 1157
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 2lS OF THE
MOUNT PROSPECT ZONING CORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect heretofore
on April 22, 1966, conducted a public hearing on a request for a zoning classifi-
cation change from R-X (Single family District) to R-l Single family District of
certain property hereinafter deseribed ; and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was given in the manner
provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has determined thct the zoning change is
in accord with the overall plan in that area and would in no way be detrimental
to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect has recom-
mended that the zoning change be granted and the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect have considered the said recommendation and
believe that the zoning change wouEbe in the best interest of the said Village;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Map 21S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
Mount Prospect, as amended, be, and it is hereby, further amended by reclassify-
ing from the R-X Single Family Residence District to the R-l Single-family Resi-
dence District the following described property:
The West 137.75 feet of the North 475.0 feet of Lot 4; the East
137.75 feet of the West 275.50 feet of the North 475.0 feet of
Lot 4, all in the Division of the Louis F. Busse Farms, being the
NE quarter (except the West 686.40 feet of the NW quarter of the
NE quarter of Section 15, Township 31 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois;

The East 281.0 feet of the North 475.0 feet of Lot 5; The West
173.40 feet of the East 454.40 feet of the North 335.0 feet of
Lot 5, all in Meier Brothers Subdivision, being a subdivision
of parts of Sections 10 and 15 in Township 41 North, Range ll,East
of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois;

That part of the South 50.0 feet of Lot 7 in Owner's Division of
the Southeast quarter (except the West half of the Southwest
quarter thereof) of Section 10, Township 41 North ,Range 11, East
of the Third Principal Meridian, which lies West of the West line
of Colonial Heights 10th Addition as per~at registered in the
office of the Registrar of Titles of Cook County, on April 20~
1965 as Document 2204622.
SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its: passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
