ORDUIANCE NO. 1160
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING 13.8 ACRES LOCATED ON THE NORTHERLY
SIDE OF CENTRAL ROAD, EAST OT WESTGATE ROAD
WHEREAS. property legally described as follows:
Lots A and B in Wedgewood, a subdivision of Lot 1
in C. A. Goelz' Prospect Gardens, a subdivision in
the West one-half (1/2) of the West one-half (1/2)
of the South East one-quarter (1/4) of Section 35,
Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the 3rd Prin-
cipal Meridian, together with,
Lots 3 and 4 in the Resubdivision of Lot 2 of
Goelz' Prospect Gardens, a subdivision of the West
one-half (1/2) of the West one-half (1/2) of the
South East Quarter (1/4) of Section 35, Township
42 North, Range 11, East of the 3rd Principal
Meridian, together with,

said Section 35; thence west at right angles to the east
line of said west half of the east half of the south east
quarter of said Section 35 a distance of 820 feet to the
point of beginning of the tract herein described; thence
continuing west on said line 500.15 feet, more or less,
to the west line of the east half of the west half of
the south east quarter of said Section 35; thence 30uth
on said west line 863.07 feet to the south west corner
of said east half of the west h.:llf of the south east
quarter of said Section 35; thence east along the south
line of said Section 35 a distance of 500.60 feet, more

The North 75 feet of the South 277.61 feet of
Horner Lane commencing at the North line of
Central ~oad, together with,
The South 305.77 feet of the 610.49 feet of Marcella
Road commencing at the North line of Central Road,
together with,
The East half of the south 211.43 feet of Westgate
Road north of the north line of Central Road, all
in Cook County, Illinois.
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the Corporate limits of
any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Pro~pect,
and
I-iHEREAS, said petition under oath, signed by all the property owners 'therein
and all the electors therein request annexation in full compliance with the
requirements of the statutes of the State of Illinois, and in particularly
Section 7-1-8 of Chapter 24 thereof (Illinois Revised Statutes 1963) and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect have examined said petitioners, have considered the question of
annexation of the territory described therein, and believE' it to be to the
best interests of the municipality that such ter!'itory be in fact annexed
thereto;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRI:SIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT. COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That all lands and territories described in said petitions,
to wit:
Lots A and B in Wedgewood, a subdivision of Lot 1
in C. A. Goelz' Prospect Gardeps, a subdivision in
the West one-half (1/2) of the West one-half (1/2)
of the South East one-quarter (1/4) of Section 35,
Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the 3rd Prin-

Prospect. is not within the limits of any Municipality,
contains electors all of whom have requested annexation,
be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of
Mount Prospect, so that hereafter said territory shall
be included within the boundary lines and limits of ""/ /
