A. Request for Class "R" liquor license
A request has been submitted for a Class "R" liquor
license for the property formerly known as Dunkin Donuts,
Northwest Highway & Wille Street.
B. Request for Class "C" liquor license
Alvee Liquors, located in the Mount Prospect Plaza,
is in the process of being sold and it is necessary
for the new owners to obtain a liquor license in
their name.

VIII. OLD BUSINESS
A.' 2nd reading of- AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE LEVY AND
COLLECTION OF TAXES FOR THE CORPORATE AND MUNICIPAL
PURPOSE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING MAY lr 1982 AND ENDING
APRIL 30, 1983.
Pursuant to a public hearing held August 17, 1982, on
the proposed levey and in accordance with the time
schedule required by State Statutes, this Ordinance
is presented for 2nd reading. The amounts levied
in this Ordinance will be collected through real
estate taxes payable in 1983. (Exhibit A)
B. A 'request has been received to extend the time
period for completion of 7 townhouses within the
Colony Country.
C. ZBA 21-V-82, 302 South Maple Street
lst reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING SPECIFIED
VARIATIONS FOR PROPERTY AT 302 S. MAPLE STREET
In accordance with the Village Board's concurrence
with the Zoning Board of Appeals recommendation to
grant the requested variation, this ordinance is
presented authorizing parking spaces in an existing
'for feel parking lot to be 9' x 181. (Exhibit B)
D. ZBA 22-V-82, 309 S. George Street
lst reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING SPECIFIED
VARIATIONS FOR PROPERTY AT 309 S. GEORGE STREET
As recommended by the Zoning Board of Appeals and
Village Board, this ordinance grants a side yard
encroachment of," for the construction of a fireplace
chimney. (Exhibit C)

B. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE VII
ENTITLED "BOARD OF FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSIONERS"
OF CHAPTER 5*OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance will increase the membership on the
Fire and Police Commission from 3 members to 5. (Exhibit D)
C. Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency (IRMA) Audit
Three firms interested in conducting the IRMA claims
audit have submitted their proposals.
D. Acknowledge receipt of Audit
London Witte has submitted the Village's audit
for fiscal year May 1, 1981 and ending April 30, 1982
E. RTA Grant
A proposal has been submitted to enter into a program
offering transportation to elderly and handicapped
residents 'requiring a vehicle with a mechanical lift.
X. NEW BUSINESS
A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE PROPOSING THE ESTABLISHIAENT
OF A SPECIAL SERVICE AREA IN THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT, AND PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
AND OTHER PROCEDURES IN CONNECTION THEREWITH
This Ordinance proposes the creation of a Special
Service Area for those residents of Mount Prospect
utilizing Village water in order to partially fund
the acquisition,of Lake Michigan water. (Exhibit E)
B. est reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE I OF
CHAPTER 9 OF THE VILLAGE CODE REGARDING BOND DEPOSITS
FOR STREET AND SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION
This Ordinance establishes a procedure for unclaimed
deposits for certain construction to be forfeited
to the Village when .unclaimed for a period of 6 months .(Exhibit F)
C. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE TO DECLARE A FORFEITURE
WIT4 RESPECT TO CERTAIN UNCLAIMED SIDEWALK
CONSTRUCTION BOND DEPOSITS AND TO TRANSFER THE
AMOUNT OF DEPOSITS TO THE GENERAL CORPORATE FUND
In line with the preceding ordinance, this ordinance
declares certain funds unclaimed and authorizes the
transfer of those funds to the General Corporate Fund. (Exhibit G)
D. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE TO DECLARE A REBATE IN
SPECIAL ASSESSMENT NO. 71 CO 0081 AND TO TRANSFER
THE SAME TO THE PUBLIC BENEFIT FUND OF THE VILLAGE
This ordinance authorizes the transfer of old and
unclaimed funds from this special assessment to the
Public Benefit Fund. (Exh,-*
E lst reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER "W -W
OF CERTAIN SURPLUS AND UNUSED PUBLIC BENEFIT FUNDS
TO THE GENERALCORPORATE FUND OF THE VILLAGE
This ordinance authorizes the transfer of certain,
monies previously advanced to the General Corporate
Fund from the Public Benefit Fund. (Exhibit J)
F. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE VIII
ENTITLED "DEPARTMENT OF POLICE" OF CHAPTER 4 OF THE
VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance authorizes the Chief of Police to
enter into certain agreements with other Police
Departments, Park Districts, and related police
5erva.ce agreements. (Exhibit K)

A. Allen's Plat of Subdivision
This Plat dedicates a portion of Lonnquist Boulevard
and Meier Road, as well as placing the property on
the northeast corner into lots of record.
