Clerk NEXT ORD INANuE NO. 3283 S Uj�f ice NEXT RESOLUTION NO. 52-82 VILLAGE BOARD VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT 0 R D E R 0 F B U S, I N E S S SPECIAL MEETING Meeting Location: Meeting Date and Time: Board Room, 2nd Floor Tuesday, November 30, 1982 Public Safety Building 7:30 P.M. 112 East Northwest Highway A Special Meeting of the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect has been called for Tuesday, November 30, 1982, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. to be held in the Board Room, 2nd Floor, of the Public Safety Building, 112 East Northwest Highway, Mount Prospect, Illinois. The purpose of this Special Meeting is to consider the following items: CALL TO ORDER INVOCATION - Trustee Farley III. ROLL CALL Mayor Krause Trustee Arthur Trustee Murauskis Trustee Farley Trustee Wattenberg Trustee Floras IV. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE AMENDMENT OF THE NORTHWEST SUBURBAN MUNICIPAL JOINT ACTION WATER AGENCY AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE WATER SUPPLY AGREEMENT As previously discussed, the Ordinance authorizes specified amendments to the existing water agency agreement and water supply agreement. (Exhibit A) V. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT NUMBER 5 This Ordinance establishes the district to be included in the area to receive Lake Michigan water, which Special Service District will be assessed a portion of the construction costs through property taxes. (Exhibit B) Vi. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUE OF $1,900,000.00 UNLIMITED AD VALOREM TAX BONDS OF SPECIAL SERVICE AREA NUMBER FIVE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY/ ILLINOIS, AND THE LEVY OF A DIRECT ANNUAL TAX SUFFICIENT TO PAY THE PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST ON SAID BONDS As stated, this Ordinance authorizes the Village to issue bonds to finance the construction costs involved with the acquisition of Lake Michigan water. (Exhibit C) VII. CROSSING GUARD DISCUSSION In anticipation of next years budget, the staff was requested to develop and analyze the cost of various crossing guard positions. The staff report is attached. The schools have been notified and invited I- to attend.
