A request has been submitted for a Class rrR',�,,.liquor

A request has been submitted for a Class "W„ liquor
license for 1500 South Elmhurst Rd, for Showbiz Pizza.
D. Request of Class "R" liquor license
A request has been submitted for a Class "R" liquor
license for the property formerly known as JoJo's,
821 East Rand. Rd, for Giordano's Pizza.
E. O'Hare Airport Litigation Settlement
A Resolution was submitted ,to approve and authorize the
execution of a Consent Decree and Agreement regarding
settlement of the litigation filed against expansion
activities at Chicago -O' Hare International Airport. (Exhibit A)

2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING SPECIFIED VARIATIONS
FOR PROPERTY AT 302 S. MAPLE STREET
This ordinance is granting the requested variation
authorizing parking spaces in an existing 'for fee'
parking lot to be 9' X 181. (Exhibit B)
B. 2nd ,reading of AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ARTICLE VIII
ENTITLED "DEPARTMENT OF POLICE" OF CHAPTER 4 OF THE
VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS
This ordinance is an agreement between the Park
Districts within Mount Prospect and the Police Dept. (Exhibit C)

B. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE VII
ENTITLED "BOARD OF FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSIONERS"
OF CHAPTER 5 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This ordinance will increase the membership on the
Fire and Police Commission from 3 members -to 5. (Exhibit D)
X. NEW BUSINE'SS
A. Request for a partial street name change has been
submitted by Opus (Rauenhorst) for a portion of
Mamiya Court.
B. The first reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING
PARTICIPATION IN THE ILLINOIS FIRE PROTECTION
TRAINING ACT
This action was previously adopted by Resolution
some years ago. It is now required to be passed
by an Ordinance. (Exhibit E)
C. ZBA 23-V-82, 1761 Corktree Lane
The petitioner, Jack Lococo, has submitted a request
for a variance of minimum space from the property line
to build a room addition. zoning Board of Appeals
vote resulted in a tie, therefore the recommendation
is to deny this request.
D61 ZBA 26 -SU -821 1500 South Elmhurst Rd
Showbiz Pizza submitted a request for a special use
for a family entertainment restaurant with would
include more than six (6),amusement devices. The
Zoning Board of Appeals recommeds to deny this request.
E. Consider a request from Showbiz Pizza to amend the
language of Chapter 11, Article VII, "Coin -in Slot
Devices", Section E.4 to permit the operation of
amusement devices by anyone under the age of 21,
when accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or
responsible adult.
F. ZBA 29-Z-82, 33 West Kensingtion
Village of Mount Prospect - Huntzicker has submitted
a request for a variation from the Zoning ordinance,
to rezone from B-3 District to R-1 District. Zoning
Board of Appeals recommends to deny this request.
G* ZBA 30-Z, 31-2r 32 -SU, and 33-V-82, 3401 South Busse Rd
Arrow Road Construction Company has submitted a request
for a Zoning variation (Upon Annexation) to R -X, a Text
amendment for Chapter 14, Article XXII, a special use
to provide for a mixing plant, and other various
variations from Section 14.2202 and 14.2205. The Zoning
Board of Appeals recommends to approve this request.
H. The first reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE V
ENTITLED "METERS AND RATES" OF CHAPTER 22 OF THE VILLAGE
CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This ordinance will implement new water rates effective
with the collection starting May of 1984. (Exhibit F-)
1. The first reading of AN ORDINANCE INCREASE VEHICLE
LICENSE FEES FROM $10 TO $15 IF PURCHASED BEFORE MAY 11
AND AN INCREASE FROM $15 TO $30 IF PURCHASED AFTER MAY 1
This ordinance will increase vehicle license fees
effective in 1983. (Exhibit G)
J. Request of an authorization for a Circuit Court fee
increase from $30 to $50 as full settlement of a
judgment entered by the court.
