HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 2008 06/06/1967 ORDINANCE 1JO. 2008 AN ORDINANCE A~'FJn:nNG flJAP 6s or THE fVlOUNT PROSPECT ZONDJG ORDINANCE 1,-ihEREAS, the Plan Corrmission of the Village of fJbunt Prospect heretofore on October 21, 1966 and December 16, 1966 conducted a public hearing under Case No. 66-21P on a request for a zoning classification change from R-3 (fil\.llti-family District) to B-2 (Business - Office District) of certain property hereinafter described; and M:iEREAS, a notice of aforesaid public hearing was made in the manner prov ided by law; and WhEflliAS, the Plan CanrrLission has determined that a zoning change is in accord with the overall plan in that area and it would in no way be detrimental to the Village of r.10unt Prospect; and vJliEHEAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of I,10unt Prospect has recommended that the zoning change be granted; and whEREAS, the Judiciary Committee of the Board of Trustees of the \T~llage of ["'Iount Prospect did meet on fvlay 5, 1967, and reviewed Case No. b6-21P, and have determined that the said recommendation of the Plan Canmission subject to a re-subdivision of the six lots in question into one lot, would be in the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect; and vJliliREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of ~ount Prospect rmve determined that the best interests of the Village of Yount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Commission's recommendation in addition to the re-subdivision of the said lots into one lot on Case No. 66-21P regarding the subject property; NO'v'i, ThEREFORE, BE IT ORDAll-JED BY RHE PRESIDEl-JT AND BOARD OF TRUSTFES OF 'l'HE VILLAGE OF MOUNI' PROSPEC'I', COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That fv1ap 6s of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of fv"Dunt Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby, further amended by re- classifying from R-3 (~ulti-family District) to B-2 (Business - Office District the following described property: Lots 1, 2, 3, 11, 5 and 6 in H. Roy Perry Company's Colonial I'Janor, being a subdivision of part of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 11 and part of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 12, all in Township 41 North, Range 11, t2st of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois. SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
